LIVE from Spanaway!
I'm sorry that I had to leave so soon.
Looks like the party is still alive...how many are left? And did Chad make it?
I thought you LIKED my cooking! LMAO
BTW: Them Ribs went to good use for a pre-wake party for a Gal who has a fatal Lupus disaese...
Had no idea this was happening (the party) so all turned out for the best!
Guess the invite and directions got lost in the email...
I know for a fact Libertina would never have intentionally done that...God works in mysterious ways!
I was referring to #97 !!
Baby is born, yes? Is your sister ok? Everyone healthy and happy? I was so bummed you had to go, but it was for a very good reason! Next time, I'm gonna hog tie ya! =)
What's with all them pony tails???
LOL!
We should have a Pony Tail Contest in August when Jim Robinson blesses us with his presence!
(Hint...me ponytail is below me belt as of this posting! You know...Rush and his "maggot infested FM types don't apply here in the N.W.!)
LOL!
I am Eala (aka Sionnsar)'s wife. A short brunette spitfire who loves people and parties. A little "slow" on this FReeper stuff because I am involved in so many other endeavors... (sigh) Eala/Sionnsar usually packs his old Mavica and takes floppies full of photos which we can put up online if someone brings a computer.
Yep... I guess it's time for a that "new" laptop, huh? ;-)
I'm one of those ponytail guys.
Hint: It's part of the clever disguise I use that allows me to infiltrate the enemy lefty lines (this IS Seattle, after all ;'}
I didn't make it - I got stuck doing stuff longer than planned. The kid's piano recital, an "emergency" at work, and dealing with my lother-in-law. By the time everything was done, it was after 4... that seemed a little late to start a 60+ mile drive...
But, we got the upcoming Kerry FReep, JimRob's visit, and Doug's visit in the next few months.
My Biker appearance ( ponytail to me arse, beard to me naval) works in the same way!
It was great to meet you Rockrr, and glad your little A-Rockrr found a friend :)
BTTT I just want to say thank you to our gracious Lori & hubby Walt who were so kind to have everyone at thier home yesterday. Lori happens to be a great BBQ cook, Walt is a wonderful fly-guy, and though they have a dog the size if a horse, even HE was friendly :) Now I'm off to church and will check back later and post. BTW I see pix are up - thank you BTD for taking good ones (I hope ;)
Hey, that *hippie* guy on the end is Rockrr, not Starfire ;) (Glad you came so we could meet you Rockrr ;)
I LOVE FREEPERS!
Concert good? Baby birthed? Wife happy? :)
We missed you, JD!
New Baby & Mother are fine. My sister-in-law delivered about a month early, which was a surprise. Delivery occured at 4:30 this morning. Baby's name is Gil, weighing 7lbs. 15oz. and 18 3/4 long.
I missed out on most of the party. Although it was one of those days that I felt like I was in a "fog". I was burnt out and the heavy traffic and rotten driving conditions only added to my weariness. I didn't have much time to recoup my energy during my short-lived visit.
Would you thank Walt for the umbrella escort to my car...it rained REALLY hard there. When I got to Hwy 7 to turn right I had to swing a lane over to the left to avoid 8-12" inches of water, which was over the curb. Before I left I made a joke that I may need a boat to get home...well, I almost did. The rain let up in Tacoma but I-5 was a mess because a few miles ahead there was a mess in the road. A couple of broken storage containers had landed on the lanes and slowed traffic, which backed up the freeway for a few miles. I couldn't help but think of all the many times I'm stuck in traffic and think this is another tribute to "Gary Gridlock". Since we are in a land where alternative routes offer little of no relief. (rant/off).
C'ya all next time!
Yes, Yes, and Yes. (see post 118 for more details)
Chad,
Totally understandable. I'll look forward to seeing you next time, probably to greet "Flipper". If not I'll be at the JimRob thang.
