Previously secret sworn statements by detainees at the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq describe in raw detail abuse that goes well beyond what has been made public, adding allegations of prisoners being ridden like animals, sexually fondled by female soldiers and forced to retrieve their food from toilets.
The fresh allegations of prison abuse are contained in statements taken from 13 detainees shortly after a soldier reported the incidents to military investigators in mid-January. The detainees said they were savagely beaten and repeatedly humiliated sexually by American soldiers working on the night shift at Tier 1A in Abu Ghraib during the holy month of Ramadan, according to copies of the statements obtained by The Washington Post.

Make no mistake, the left is trying to do to these brave men and women what they did to us (Nam Vets), they are drumming us down, they are spitting on our troops, and they are trying to take away their will to fight. Monsters huh. A September night in South Viet Nam, a hundred years ago. We chased a battalion strength contingency up the Ho Chi Mein trail (we were a rag tag company of Rangers that just happen to engage them on the road). Through villages and "rice patty" towns. We fought for nine days. Turn and run, advance and fire, run every which way and fire. Sometimes we won, sometimes we lost, but we kept pushing them up the road. One vill, we found no men and a contingency of cong, we killed them. We also found dead women, some pregnant, and infants crying. I was "doc" I took care of the babies. This wasn't a one time thing, the Communists did this daily, and they are still doing it thanks to the american communist assholes like Jane Fonda, and John F'n Kerry and all the ilk that support communism, and this Islamic bullshit.
They are going to try this on our troops in Iraq. They called me a baby killer, when I saved babies. They turn the truth to lies, and they get away with it. Stop this now, or these brave men will suffer what I am suffering. Get the truth out, or they will have fought and died for nothing but the lies of the communists, and elitists.
The blood of the patriot that feeds the tree of liberty is good enough to defend, is it not? Mr. President, don't give up like Johnson and McNamera, don't slither down a communist hole and leave those brave men to die for nothing. Stand and deliver, defeat this most vile enemy. Don't leave them to die for nothing.
There are allegedly anonymous rumblings from military families back here in the states.
Families that have had soldiers killed or injured or had their jobs made more dangerous because of the media and dem/libs and morons like Mike Berg.

The second thing this is doing is reminding us that these animals deserve interrogation on the worst level we can give it (from a Geneva convention point of view). Every time we get information out of these vermin we save American lives, and that's all I care about.
Every time I think that one of these naked detainees might have planted a roadside bomb that killed or maimed one American, I cannot feel any anger about their "humiliation."
I wonder if any of this could have been done or at least instigated by those hoping to discredit the President.
Conspiracy theory maybe, but to be so widespread and being exposed at this time is just too fortunate for the Dems!
The North Vietnamese got all their "fire" from the american left, and their presstitutes. How many stories have you seen about the Wall in DC. Not many, they want us to forget. You know, even if the media won't give it up the LEAST we could do it stop posting this poop on FR. I suggest a boycott of ALL prison abuse stories on FR. If we can boycott France we can certainly boycott the publishers of this stuff, don't give them the hits!

P.S. I strongly oppose cruelty to animals. Beast here should be a moral, not anatomical, quality.
And the way to get that to happen is to get more Americans killed.
All we have to do is turn the channel. They cannot make me watch abuse stories day after day same as they could not make me watch Scott Petersen trial analysis day after day.
I will go to other stations until I find something I am interested in. I am not interested in playing stupid stooge for the liberal media with my face plastered to the TV showing the propaganda they want to push in my head.

Exactly why FreeRepublic is a great alternative news source for our use.
When the media serves as propaganda TV, anyone with any sense would find alternative news sources. We are not required to watch ABC/CBS/NBC/CNN. The more people turn to alternative sites, the less power the major media will have.
So far I know of Fox News, FreeRepublic, Drudge, Rush, Sean and the great conservative talk shows. There is a strong need for alternative news sources and I think some will capitalize on this need.
Maybe it would be interesting to put together a list of alternative news sites with their rating as to truthful unslanted reporting.

By making that statement I'm going to assume you are fairly young and have fallen for the media lie, and leftist history revision, that HST, aka 'give em hell harry' was 'tough' on communism.
FYI, HST was a 2nd rate political hack who once said that he - and I quote, "liked Joseph Stalin". With his full knowledge his WH staff and the State Dept was full of Russian spies, which facts he arrogantly ignored. HST also signed off on giving half of Europe away to the Communists (FDR's Yalta, which HST could have revised) and HST did cr@p to enforce the Potsdam agreements that HE engineered and which were violated almost as soon as they left the room.
And who was POTUS in WWII when our troops were ordered to HALT in their tracks and let the Russians keep advancing? Oh yeah, TRUMAN.
HST also gave China to the Communists (Mao) by pulling all support for Chiang Kai-shek and in effect ALLOWED the Korean war to happen by his soft stance on Communism.
Then let's not forget how he tied the hands of the US Military in fighting the Korean War by first stopping MacArthur at the Yalu River and then later would not allow our jets to cross the Yalu River after the North's counter-attack. HST also knew that Russian pilots were actually flying most of those MIGS and did NOTHING about it! (except stymie our response)
HST, ALSO reneged on his agreement with Ho Chi Minh for US funding for helping us fight the Japs and from VJ Day supported the French in keeping their little IndoChina empire going, which then forced Ho to go to Russia for money - and a communist form of government, which then as we know gave then us the Vietnam War.
The only people HST 'gave hell to' was the American People and the Free World!
As such, Harry Truman should be dug up, tried for treason, SHOT and reburied thrown in a garbage toxic waste dump!
