The Globe, why does it do this? Because it hates the troops. Why does the Globe hate the troops? Partly because it is de rigeur on the left, but mostly because the military bans gays. The Globe prides itself on its all- or mostly-gay (at one time it was all-gay but they are coming and going all the time) editorial page staff.
