RALLY AGAINST MOVEON.org
SUPPORT PRESIDENT BUSH!

WE MUST SHOW THEM WE WON'T STAND FOR THEIR LIES!!

WHEN: Monday, May 24, 4pm - 6:30pm
WHERE: Universalist Church, 160 Central Park West at 76th Street

Our friends at moveon.org are at it again. They didn't learn from their January debacle when they hosted Al Gore giving a speech on global warming on the coldest day of the year. Now they are back with Al Gore and Robert Kennedy Jr. on Monday, May 24 at a "town hall" event organized to attack President Bush for not adopting their extremist environmental agenda.

Their plan is to use the film "The Day After Tomorrow" to needlessly create panic among Americans by spreading the perception that we are on the verge of a cataclysmic event that could be prevented if only President Bush would pass the Kyoto treaty. They conveniently forget that the Kyoto treaty was rejected by President Clinton and the U.S. Senate by a unanimous vote in 1998.
Join Us!!
Monday, May 24
4pm - 6:30pm
Universalist Church
160 Central Park West at 76th Street

Please RSVP to RobertH@nycyr.org if you can help us. We will have posters ready for you to carry, or bring your own. WE MUST HAVE A STRONG SHOWING OF SUPPORT if the leftist press will pay any attention to the other (clearly the majority) side. Please do what ever you can to be with us from 4pm - 6:30pm this Monday.

Moveon.org radicals are planning to pass out flyers over the Memorial Day weekend to attack President Bush on this issue. If you don't think this is a good cause worthy of your time, take a look at the flyer they have created... http://www.moveon.org/dayafter/index.html

2 1/2 hours of your time isn't much to ask for to support President Bush in the face of this slanderous attack by Moveon.org, Al Gore, Robert Kennedy, George Soros and extreme left environmental radicals who want to blame Bush for rain, wind, hot, cold, drilling for oil, high oil prices, any other junk arguments they can throw against the wall and hope it sticks.

It's not that's it's NOT a god use of your time and energy, however a better use of both might be spent at local cemeteries honoring fallen vets...

1. What do you think I'll be doing that day?
2. The left is using the day to destroy the freedoms and nation for which the soldiers gave the ultimate sacrifice.

No insult meant, intende, or even implied..I was trying to gently suggest that what you're proposing is the political equivalent of "pissing into the wind"...you get relief, but ultimately it's messy, and unsatisfying..

"extreme left environmental radicals "

I'm sorry, but isn't that a tad redundant? :)

Ken, Memorial Day isn't until the 31st this year! If the rally is on the 24th, you can do both.

BTW, the moveon bozos have a petition you can sign and send to the President and Congress. I urge all freepers to sign it and add their own message debunking the movie and the environmental act they are promoting (Lieberman-McCain Environmental-Case Act, or some such nonsense!).

The petition is at:

Latest predictions are a 1-degree centigrade rise in the global temperature over the next century. The movie is silly fun. The movement is chicken little.
