Jim Robinson is coming to Colorado! Lets do lunch!

As you may know Jim Robinson and family will be doing a tour of many states this month. They will be in Ft. Collins, Colorado on May 28th and 29th. Their plans are to arrive late in the evening on the 28th and they will be leaving on Saturday afternoon following a Freep of the lefties and a late lunch.
A few of us have been trying to decide where to go for lunch. We would like to have as many Freepers from Colorado and Southern Wyoming join us for lunch.
Here a a couple of choices
1. Since the Freep will be in Ft. Collins we could also do lunch in Ft Collins. We discussed Washington's in Old Town.
2. We Freep in Ft. Collins and do lunch somewhere along I-25 since this will be on their way to Burlington where they will spend Saturady night. We could possibly get the meeting room at Johnson's Corner, just north of the Berthoud exit. Maybe there is a nice restaurant near the Longmont exit at Del Camino.
We need to make a decision soon, so please let us know if you could do the FReep at Noon and lunch afterward or if you can just do one of the agenda items.
Also, feel free to post alternative suggestions for lunch.

Rocky Mountain Oysters!!!!! YUMMY!
Bruces Bar serves something like 60 TONS of Oysters a year. They have a painting on the outside of a steer with his legs crossed, holding a sign that says "Not Fair" or something like that. LOL!
Since Bruce (who owns the place) rents goose blinds to hunters every fall, it is the only place I have ever seen where you can sit at the bar and order lunch and a box of 10 guage shotgun shells. ROTFLMAO!!
This TOUR BUS of yours Jim is turning into quite a little joke. I don't know where I heard that you had a tour bus, but it just cracks me up now when I see a post about it.

Ref 43, Hey, here in Missouri, that would be a heck of a tour bus. (I noticed it wasn't very crowded, no one was riding on the top). lol
Clear your calendars Memorial Day. Hopefully we will have our plans firmed up before the Saturday FReep and can discuss Mr Robinson's visit here in detail. Blue, can you give us a "heads up" on where we are with reservations, etc?

We will be at the FReep , have a graduation in Ft. Morgan to go to in the afternoon late. If all the freepers show up the lefisits will not be able to take it. It would be wishful thinking for them to commit hari kara would it not when they see all the FReepers out against them.

Rally begins at Noon at the intersection of Drake and Lemay in Ft. Collins
Afterward we will mosey over onto Johnson's Corner for lunch. We will plan om lunch from about 2:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon. We could not make reservations, but the backroom should be plenty big enough for us. The manager said if we could get someone there a little early (1:30ish) they could start setting up an area for us. Volunteers?! click on the graphic for more info
