Michael Moore and Chris Hitchens deserve each other.
They're both disgraceful human beings.
To: pookie18
A large portion of the left in the US and all of the Europeans will take Christopher Hitchens words as a compliment.
Yep, they are that stupid.

FYI. Christopher does have a way with words, huh? I knew you'd like this.
To: Patrick1
Hitchens is a good wordsmith and quick witted and he is dead on about Moore. But I don't like him. He is a Catholic hating bigot of the hard left. His only loyalty is to his left wing ideology. That he supports this war shouldn't fool anyone. In fact it should make some people think.

I disagree. Hitchens is the type of man we should wish were our opposition in America. He is thoughtful and honest. He has been convinced he was wrong in the past, and has come out and said so. When he is convinced he is right, he argues his case with facts, and with a sense of humor.
I may disagree with him often, but he at least makes me think about my arguments. Our country would only be improved if more democrats were like him. Competition in ideas improves both sides - and that is what Hitchens engages in.

What is also funny is that while most EU trash say these things about us, thay also hate us for being THE world Super-power. Just another example of the duplicity and true ignorance of the left.

LOL. Perfect. With one statement he took aim and hit multiple targets. I may not always agree with Hitch but I'm always entertained.

Gee, after Christopher addressed a couple of Freeper rallies, and after being priviledged to spend some considerable time in his presence, I have a far different view of Mr. Hitchens. Maybe you can elaborate why you have such a harsh opinion of him.

Hitchens is wonderful. I've also enjoyed his insights into the Clintoons. But, he's so much more polite than I would be in describing Moore.
