No, because a SECOND passenger jet had hit WTC South Tower. How quickly we forget. Everyone here forgets that Bush was told of the SECOND attack, yet chose to not protect our nation's capital during the initial moments of this war.>>>

This is a patently ridiculous assumption. Fighter Jets were scrambled after the 2nd impact at the WTC. Considering the location of the Pentagon to the airport there, there was absolutely no chance in hell that the pentagon flight could have been intercepted, and by most knowledge due to the fact the take off path of the flight goes near the pentagon anyways. The last plane was going to be intercepted but it was tooken out by brave people on board the plane.

This happens to be one of those times.

With a minimum of Googling, I was able to prove both you and Moore wrong.

We know what Moore's agenda is, but one would have to wonder what your motives are, faced with the facts, but still continuing a proven falsehood.

the leftists would've said, "Look at little Georgie, running like the coward he is

Isn't that exactly what Peter Jennings implied?

Well........If only Pat Buchanan was the Commander In Chief at this moment of time.

He would have immediately given a speech on the Jewish monopoly in entertainment and the finacial industry.

Again, please excuse my amateurr typing skills, the above should read.

It's hard to type correctly when your head is exploding with rage.

Calm down...it will help.

And you know who corrected Jennings on air? None other than ABC's own Ann Compton; she was with Bush and she KNEW what they were doing.

Sheesh could you please can your "cloaking device" knee jerk Liberaltarian phrase that you all use when you try to push the leftist socialist line on FR.

You are wrong. Bush was informed that A PLANE HAS CRASHED INTO ONE OF THE TWIN TOWERS!

NOBODY knew it was an attack!

Noone even knew if it was a civilian or a commercial plane. There was no 'official' 'attack' until more information came in.

Do you really want the president interrupted every time a plane crashed anywhere in the US?

That plane took off from Dulles and the controllers lost verbal contact with it, but it kept on its flight path, so at first there was no suspicion about it.

Here's an interesting view of it:

Uh dude, maybe you should take your own advice that you were, IMO, with a hubristic omnipotent way giving in your reply #105 of this thread.

My motives and agenda are finding and disseminating the truth about the Bush adminstration

Don't you think his "duty" to the nation after the first plane hit was just a little bit more important than the "feelings" of a few school kids?

First reports were that it was a smaller commuter plane.

Apparently so, according to Cooter. Now that I think about it, I remember that too. Just another in the nearly infinite list of media bias.

Moore has never been right on a single issue in any of his films, and he's wrong on this one too.

You're lost in a Hollywood fantasy if you think any air response system could have shot down jet airliners already approaching their targets on a few minutes notice. The real world isn't Hollwood, bozo.

Odd that you would choose Michael Moore as your partner in crime.

He's a liar. That says a lot about what you're willing to do to "expose" the Bush administration.

You're exactly right. The president is the guy who scambles fighters at the first hint of trouble. The whole military establishment, down to the privates first class in their fireteams, move only at his direction.

You, Sir, are an idjit.

If President Bush could walk on water, Michael Moore would say "See, he can't swim."

Hehe.....I like that. A lot. I'm gonna steal it for a tagline. At least for a few days.

I used to be a navy corpsman. I would never stitch anyone up without a Presidential directive.

Nice try, Howlin, but you're not even close.

I just happen to think he's right on this issue
