That's a good challenge!

Of course he won't take it. Moore knows he is just preaching to that choir andlaughing all the way to the bank.

Won't be long before one of those closely-allied-with-him-and-his-ilk Russian mafia sites that put other people's intellectual property and the likes of Moore's vomitus online for the downloading will have his latest delusion tirade up for the taking.

[Anyone know the URLs of any of those sites? -- since the internet address of one of them was posted on FR I have gotten all of Moore's stuff from it -- but have lost the internet address]

Best ones -- Brian

I would expect it to be done (possibly with Mike's consent) but not publicly endorsed (he still wants the film's distributors to give him some $$$).

The man sells antiAmericanism at home and abroad. If anyone is in doubt that his fans overseas like his antiAmerican rhetoric, then explain why his foreign editions have "red white and blue" covers (even on Bowling for Columbine)?

Mike plans to have this film on DVD by October. An October surprise plus the young voters are back in school (indoctrinating one another in the dorm, "Hey let's watch 'this' this weekend").

From what I heard, it's just a cut and paste job not worth the price of a ticket.

I must have missed it, but which company decided to distribute this bit of tripe? Perhaps a "drop in their revenue" and a few phone calls might dampen enthusiasm for this project.

I f it were about the message, he would release it for free or for whatever it paid to release it on television. However, it is not about any real message. All it is about if feeding Michael Moore's bank account and his insatiable ego. I think I should join the NRA just to p!$$ him off.

An old, dried up condom he bought in 7th grade and never used most likely.

On-line petition from the folks issuing the challenge:

Release Fahrenheit 9/11 on the Internet

We, the undersigned, hereby request that Mr. Michael Moore release his new film, Fahrenheit 9/11, FREE OF CHARGE on the internet before its theatrical release.

Moore’s critics argue that he is no different from the businesses he derides such as Halliburton that are, in Moore’s own words, “War Profiteers”. We challenge Mr. Moore to prove his critics wrong, and to prove that the message of his new film takes precedence over his personal profits.
