Adnan El Shukrijumah was actively plotting a dirty bomb and he has been linked to the Lackawanna Six.

The message that was intercepted before the FBI intercepted the Lackawanna six was the 'watermelon was delivered'.

As to whether the watermelon was a dirty bomb...who knows.

The sting that was caught here in NJ called the missile that was delivered a 'shoe'.

So I have no idea how these code words are thought up.

Bill Gertz on Greta....attack in US with chem/bio/radiological weapons is possible. US is VERY concerned about an attack. Some type of vehicle bomb possible. Senior officials say so many events coming up are threatened. Memorial Day in DC to International meetings and political conventions. They will try to pull a Madrid.

They are here that's different says Gertz (WE knew they were here months ago). These events coming up that are mentioned, is there something specific? These warnings are usually from electronic intercepts or human agents or chatter. If they raise the alert level that will determine how valid this info is.

Yep. They are busting up the Al Qaeda cell in Japan, even as we speak (Wednesday Japan Time). It's all over the news. They are rounding them up on "overstaying" first. Lets hope they don't just kick them out of Japan, but instead turn them over to us to be sent down to Guantanamo for isolation and questioning.

I also live several miles from a urban area. It is unlikely we would be directly affected by a terror attack, but the danger you and I face is not having food/supplies available. The stores will be cleaned out in several hours/days by shoppers or looters. Please have enough food for you and your kittys for AT LEAST 3 months. Buy tuna and dried beans/peas. They are inexpensive and will keep for several months. Stew, hash, canned fruit, soup, etc. Buy extra toilet paper and soap. If you drink coffee you may want to stock up. I think that any item that is imported may be difficult to acquire if things get rough. It's not too late to put in a small garden too. Get goin' and good luck.

Ok I went to google and now have a new feeling for the story of the watermelon code. There is more than I can see, when you get there, also click the 'news' link at the top, not sure about the results.

I would say that this has to do with G-8, and Mexico anarchists. Sorry that I am not going to be able to see the links well enough to post the ones that I should, and to check the ones that should be checked.

There wasn't much for adding the 1425 worth looking at, I need to go back and try 440 in front of the search. I started with Google for:
