The "Stark" Difference [a FReeper's perspective]

Posted on 05/15/2004 5:04:33 AM PDT by Arthur Wildfire! March

There is a reason why the Gorelick Memo will boomerang back into view. There is a reason why 'Torture Gate' is beginning to spin out of control for the Left. The reason is simple: Truth. And the Truth is revolving around two starkly different states: Texas and Massachusetts.

Lies simply do not work the way they used to. Quick fixes for power, ever the liberal strategy since its beginning, are too transparent with the New Media studying their every move with an elephant's memory.

As the stakes increase in a war, the difference becomes as clear as night and day. It's a Stark difference:

Stark to a veteran: "...But I'll call you back later and let you tell me more about why you think you're such a great goddamn hero..."

Where is the cry of outrage from the left? If there is any, it's as quiet as a whimper. If any Republican said that, the GOP would toss the creep out faster than you can say, "Robert KKK Byrd". Why? The GOP is eternally opposed to terrorism [and Byrd was part of a terrorist organization]. And since our military is fighting terrorists, the GOP doesn't want members "g-d"ing our troops and belittling true heroism. They might not appreciate band aid heroics the way the Left does. Even then, they are not comfortable with making jokes.

Speaking of band aid heroes from Massachusetts, and the Bottom-feeding Boston Globe that carries pornographic water for them, in that neck of the woods is outraged Barney Frank. After hearing Rush, I'm not clear about this. Is Barney Frank upset about the glow sticks because he lost out on that splendid opportunity? I remember reading that Barney Frank is attracted to men with large endowments and 'hot bottoms'. So perhaps Barney Frank thought that glow sticks are too small. A blown opportunity, perhaps. What a busy state Taxachuttses has been lately. One senator, the band aid hero, running for president, and the other one comparing the most successful wartime president in US history with Saddam Insane:

Kennedy: "Shamefully, we now learn that Saddam's torture chambers reopened under new management -- U.S. management."

Maybe I missed something. Was Boston wiped out by a nerve gas attack from the US military or something?

And what else can one expect from a state that elects the Three Stooges: Kerry, Kennedy, and Barney Frank? Why not legalize sodomous marriages? Packing fudge is an act of love, don't you know? It's the refuse that binds, sealed in a stench. Oh the love we can smell arising from that wondrous bastion of liberalism, Massachusetts, where the loving act of fisting is taught to school kids.

Then there is Texas, the home of Galveston, which prospered "unfairly" by opting out of Social Security. The state that defied the World Court, saying that murderers from Mexico get executed like everyone else [only to be overturned by New England-type judges in ABA-approved federal courts]. Texas, the state of Gunville, where every able bodied and morally-capapable citizen is REQUIRED to carry a gun, a state which anyone with any sense would want to move to.

Yes, the difference this year is Stark. And the reason is Truth.

Back to the Gorelick Memos. They will be coming back to haunt the Left, and it's the Left's fault. Eager to bury the uncovered reason why we didn't see 9-11 coming, they screamed bloody murder over Glow-Gate. They went to porno web sites and found obscene photos which they used to slander our troops. They suddenly noticed a man who had contacted 16 democrat senators and demanded to know why no one contacted them. Why? They were able to regain the initiative. They had chance to compare Bush with Saddam Insane. For the first time in US history they were able to appear more outraged over pornography than conservatives. Normally, they defend homo-erotic behavior. Sodomizing with glow sticks is truly mild compared with the loving act of fisting, bull whips, and necrophilia. [Perhaps we should legalize marriage with dead people and animals.]They moan in their offices when looking at the orgy den the US military appears to be turning into, even though it's entirely their fault. [I just wonder if their moans are from outrage or from interns?]

Next, they will be trying to hamstring intelligence-gathering methods. Huh? Hamstring intelligence-gathering methods? It's the Gorelick Memo all over again. We could not trust the morality of the Clintonista. So we had to make coordination of intelligence gathering illegal. Result: 3,000 dead innocents that we aren't supposed to talk about any more. We should forget it even happened and focus on the fake porno pictures that show how evil the US military is. Now that Clinton appears to have successfully changed the morality of the US military, we will consider hamstringing intelligence gathering methods again. Only this time, it could be an entire city wiped out as a result. I would recommend moving out of New York City if they get their way. First they empower immorality and undermine our nation's tradition of ethics. Then they exaggerate the immorality and claim it's someone else's fault. Then they blind us, scratching the eyes out of our debaucherized and slandered defenders. That is the essence of the Gorelick memos. That is the essence of Glow Gate. That is the Stark difference. The Left wants to slime us, blind us, and weaken us. The Right wants to ennoble us, trust us, and empower us. Are we to become a sodomizing nanny state that can't be trusted with any freedom? Or are we to return to traditional values and be a free nation once again?

FReegards....

Well, no. It's much too late for that.

Too late? I once saw a great sea faring sailing ship movie. One of the sailors said, "I'd bet my entire voyage's earnings against anyone else's that we will all die and drown." An officer came bye, said, "It's a bet," and shook the sailors hand, sealing the wager. Then the sailor stopped to think. "If I win, how can I spend it?"

I'm coming to the conclusion that God blessed us with a fine president. With this man as President, nothing within the bounds of scripture is impossible:

"Well, no. It's much too late for that."

Not one to be overly pessimistic, I agree.

Good article Arthur.

I'm still waiting to see the suppressed 911 pics- bodies of those that jumped, etc.

Someone has them, and we may need a reminder of what exactly we are up against, as if the Berg video wasn't enough.

A clear double standard. We are shown ficticious porno pictures and told its real by the Boston Globe [man that state is working overtime right now!], because that shows how effective Clinton was in sliming up our military's ethics with Don't Ask, Don't Tell, and have women and Barney Frank types bunk with naked GIs, sharing showers with them. But when it comes to actual photos that would scare the devil out of Spain, don't show those photos to red blooded Americans. We would want to invade Syria, liberate Iran, Moab any resistant villages and simply shoot un-uniformed enemies on sight. I guarantee you, if we were more Spanish and French, they would show us those photos.

Great post.

I'm a little baffled myself.

I've had one thing in common with the leftist media since 9/11, I've agreed with them that we should not paint all Muslims with a broad brush dipped in the bucket of terrorism; do not judge the many by the actions of the relatively few.

I've taken a lot of heat in this forum for this stance.

But now, the very same media that told me not to judge a civilization based on the actions of the terrorists, is judging our government, our troops, and our nation based on the actions of a few out of control soldiers.

I can actually understand the actions of terrorists, unlike the leftist media, they are honest about their hatred of America.

I agree that we should think of most Iraqis as human beings. Why? Because it's true. At the same time, imagine if only 1% of the US became homocidal maniacs. We could lose our freedom overnight. Clearly, not even 1% of Iraqis are maniacs. In fact, many of the terrorists are foreign imports. That's what makes it so frustrating. And maybe GW is even scared of showing us too many acts of terror. But IMHO, it's better for the general US population to be 'bad cop', ready to kill'em'all, while the president is 'good cop', than to have the Spanish scenario where the people are outright cowards compared to their leader. Our media, of course, wants to Spain us unless a rat is president.

But guess what? I've been hearing that al qaida is planning to Spain us right before the election. The blood will be on the old media's hands, and we need to be in position to point that out when the time comes.

"We just need to stand firm and show them that not speaking out and joining the band makes them one of the 'uglies', too."

The cult of Islam weilds the cudgel of fatwa. We, as Americans, rarely respond in kind, declaring fatwa on people over mere words and/or gestures. It's not simple by any means. We need more eavesdropping equipment and better language training CDs so that posted soldiers can eavesdrop and understand what suspious people are saying, simply by having an ear plug, while being posted to watch for actual attacks, eating in the chow room, cleaning, exercizing, etc. It's kind of like listening to talk radio while doing other things, only in reverse. 150,000 RELIABLE spies, insto-presto, essentially chewing gum and walking at the same time.

"Don't ask, don't tell." How many times has that policy been violated to satisfy the liberals trying to see how slimy our military has become? Will soldiers be court martialled for aiding congress in its investigation if they happen to intrude on what consenting adults are doing in the military? It all ties together in a sick orgy of depravity by the Left.
