Ben Shapiro is 20 years old, has a screenname on FR (I'm sworn to secrecy!), has cool parents who invite fellow politically conservative Jews over for BBQ's, has had a syndicated column since he was 17, and just came out with a book detailing the ways in which universities indoctrinate you and your children with leftist, anti-America propaganda.
If you've heard Ben on Al Rantel's show or other radio talk shows, you know he's a very bright guy and is interested in presenting facts and evidence to make his case, not tearful complaints about being a political minority on campus.
If you haven't read Ben's book yet, here's a typical angry brainwashed review:

Is the author BRAINWASHED?, May 7, 2004 Reviewer: A reader from Los Angeles, CA Unfortunately, the option of zero stars was not available for this book. This is conservative reactivism at its worst. The author obviously misunderstood the purpose of a university education. The point of higher education is to open your eyes, not to further close them to the possibility of new ideas. Coming from the MECCA of campus "liberalism," Berkeley, the leftist exterior is a faccade for latent conservatism.

This review kind of proves Ben's point, I think.
Personally, I love reading about college life, and since I pretty much only read political non-fiction, this is right up my alley. Way to go, Ben!
Diversity gone mad!
Ben's going to let me know.
Yes, I hardly ever watch MSNBC but Scarborough is good.
Let's plan a Freeper field trip for those of us in the LA area for when Ben is on the Dennis Miller show!L.A. Chapter ROAD TRIP!
(Once we know the exact date.)From www.dennismillerinfo.com:
To get free tickets to the tapings of the Dennis Miller show, to be a part of his live studio audience and to see Dennis in person, phone (323) 653-4105 - or just click here.
You'll be able to print the tickets out right on your own computer's printer.
If you prefer, you can pick up your tickets in person at CBS Television City in Hollywood, where they tape the show. Tickets may be available starting two weeks prior to the taping day, up to the day before the taping.
But we aware that during the busy tourist season, the studio ticket window might run out of tickets.
Or you can write for tickets. Send a self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) to:
CBS Tickets - Dennis Miller Live
CBS Television City
7800 Beverly Blvd.
Los Angeles, CA 90036Include a note saying you want tickets for Dennis Miller Live, and be sure to specify how many tickets you need, and the date you would like to attend. And send the letter at least a month in advance.
But the easiest way is to just get them online, at TV Tix.com. Then you'll know for certain that you have your tickets in hand - as watch them roll out of your computer printer.
When you click on thatv link....and go to Dennis Miller Live....it says the show has been cancelled.
If you want to call in during the show to ask Dennis Miller a question while his show is being taped in Los Angeles, the phone number is (800) 522-8673 (good only from 8:30 PM to 9 PM, California time). Phone early, or the lines will be too busy to get through.
Better yet, get your Dennis Miller live tickets for free to the tapings of the show and see him in person. To get tickets just click here. You'll be able to print the tickets out right on your own computer's printer.
The show is taped in front of a live studio audience at CBS Television City in Hollywood, the same studio where they tape "The Price is Right" and "Hollywood Squares" - and where they used to tape "The Carol Burnett Show" and "All in the Family."
Ben is great! I read him on Townhall.com
When you click on thatv link....and go to Dennis Miller Live....it says the show has been cancelled.Ooops!
That's what I get for not wtaching TV. :(When did THIS happen?
From www.tvtix.com:
Dennis Miller Live Tickets
SORRY TO SAY, "DENNIS MILLER LIVE" HAS BEEN CANCELED.
WHAT YOU SEE ON TV ARE RE-RUNS.
TRY PICKING ANOTHER SHOW.
I have no idea....only watched his show a few times.
It wasn't that good....think that could be why it was cancelled?
I've sold a few thousand just by word of mouth already with no distribution deal, but it would certainly be nice to be carried on WND. EF&D could do for conservative fiction what Clancy did for the then-new genre, the techno-thriller, or what Ann Coulter did for political non-fiction. But it's going to take someone with imagination to understand the potential and seize the opportunity.
By the way, folks can read the first 20 chapters on line free at any time to kick the tires and see what it's all about.
You can also read some of the 40 Amazon reviews HERE.
Dennis' show has been cancelled? What happened? When?
That's awesome, Travis McGee.
That's very cool. Congratulations, Ben!!!
I've read his column on Townhall.com He is a very bright young man. I didn't know he was a Freeper.
Thanks for the info.
I bought your book recently & have started reading it....so far, so good.
Well, maybe I'd better just let that one go. We may find out who killed Vince Foster first.
When does it tape (time) and what day? I heard John Rhys-Davies is going to be on DM again that would be cool if it were the same day... How do you obtain tix?
I would love to go...
