You are so right. At that point, didn't the family know Nick was dead (and ostensibly how he died) he was just upset that it was made public. Why collapse at that? Blown cover, maybe?
I think the left is capable of floating ANY or all of these tidbits of information we have been hearing. After all they DO control the media. I am stating right now FOR ME that whatever "ties" or possible"connection" he may have had, it does not change the FACT that the busturds murdered him ON tape stating that it was done to avenge the prison "abuse"
The purpose of the murder is enough, I got the message loud and clear...
I meant the photo of the decapitated body on the bridge. That was not Nicholas Berg. I have not seen any photos of his body so I couldn't tell you if it was clothed in that orange outfit.
I can only assume that the terrorists dressed Berg in the orange thing prior to his execution.

wow, what a story. yours is the best post of the thread so far. he did look kind of calm in the speech before the beheading, its one thing to say "he didn't know what was coming", but still he should have been more nervous given his predicament - unless he really believed he was participating in a "hostage" setup, but he was double crossed.
Or they didn't really believe he was dead - they thought the plan was he'd just sort of "disappear". Hearing the beheading was on videotape made them realize he/they had been duped.

The father has absolutely no problem condemning the President and Rumsfeld, why would he not be free to condemn those that murdered his son in such brutal fashion? And his son, if he was the Bush supporter he says, could not be considered to be a friend to either terrorists or the insurgents in Iraq.
You could be right! Very few Islamist here and I think they used the cover of OU as we have a lot of foreign exchange students here in Norman. One of Moussoui's roommates came to the Country as an exchange student and never went to college and they never deported him or checked on him.
