And who's this guy Troy anyway?" Okaaaaaaaay! If the author of this piece honestly asked that, then I'd say the intellectual acuity of his piece may be suspect.
Anyways, knowledge of Homer overlooked for the moment, some men do look good in kilts.

Well, if Brad Pitt says that men in shorts is the coming fad; I guess I'd better head over to Dillards and get a cute dress that doesn't make my butt look big. < /sarcasm>

If Greek art of the time is anywhere near accurate - a lot of those 'warriors' were probably naked. At least when they competed in the original Olympic games they were.
Not counting armor & helmet - how many of the combatants do you think even wore a skirt?

Isn't putting men in skirts an "atrocity"?

Whatever you may fell about men in skirts don't laugh at a Highlander if he's in his kilts.
To: Willie Green
It can be hazardous to take one's sartorial advice from Hollywood. A lot of us ended up in lime green leisure suits that way.
To: Willie Green
A skirt - well some men do wear kilts. However, we've got to draw the line at panties and bras.

This thread really blows me kilt up!
To: Willie Green
Braveheart was a successful film and was inspirational but it did little to inspire men to wear kilts. Word is that Troy may not even be good.

I can't see how this movie can work.
It's supposed to be about 'Helen of Troy', the most beautiful in the world.
Yet it's obvious from the trailers that the most beautiful one in the movie is Brad Pitt.
