Counter-Protest, August 29th, New York City REMINDER

This is a reminder to those who may have forgotten about the massive million in the streets event that is planned by the left during the Republican national convention. This massive march will take place August 29th, the Sunday that begins the convention week. We've talked about this in the past, about a month or two ago, but its getting closer. How many of you are planning on attending. We currently have 7 chapters of the Protest Warriors signed up and we're looking for more help. Our 7 chapters constitutes 160 people, so get your butts up there to New York!

Our experience has been that the NYPD would keep us counterprotestors blocks away from any interaction with the smelly leftists.

Unless the counterprotest would endorse and do what PW does, i am not sure what good it will do.

We will be doing a protest but not wading in among the lefties. We don't have specifics at this point, because it has not been decided yet what time of day the other side will be protesting, or where.

More information to come as we get closer to the convention.

I understand not many are up for the type of infiltration that Protest Warriors do, but it would be nice to see a lot of you out there, even if it is on the side of the road screaming at them.

I am definitely there..no doubt about it. I have been writing a letter to Jim Robinson and Kristinn to see if we could get a message board so people can share rides or carpool to NY for this. I also think local Freepers in NY should consider housing some of our out-of-town supporters while they protest/rally with us...I know I would be wlling.

We need to get a permit, no doubt...now, if we happen to meander from the permitted area to harass the opposition, that is another thing.

Also, we should try and hook up with other conservative groups who are planning similiar rallies (Citizens United, etc) as the larger the group the better it is.

And please, don't suggest a counter protest won't matter..it definitely will! I was a one-man Freep at a Hitlery book signing and it bugged DU so much they had a two-day post talking about the "loser" freeper who protested hillary for one hour!!!

Pencil me and the wife in, we applied to voulenteer for the Convention (Con in gamer speak) and I got in, she didn't but we'd both love to FREEP the commies!!!

This is on August 29th, the Sunday before the convention kicks off,which is the next day. These freaks plan on putting 1 million in the streets. You'll see our people, in the march :)

They haven't decided where they will be marching, but it will be in the immediate area around the convention in Manhatten.
