I can't take all these bad news.
John Kerry, Global Warming Movie, Iraqi Prison Abuse, MoveOn.org, Clintons, Rhinos, Bush's apologies, Bush's soft stands and his let's all get along thing, ect... and John McCain McCain...
specially last two months, news has been really bad...
I can't take it...
I decide to stop going to drudgereport, news channels, ect... and just watch Discovery channel or sports.

Yeah, go ahead and take a break for a month or two. When you get back, you won't have any trouble picking up the plot line.

I've been watching mostly the Cartoon Network lately.
Really.
On Monday nights I'll watch Monster House, Monster Garage and American Chopper, but other than that, I've just been watching the Cartoon Network.
Teen Titans is cool....Justice League.....Dexter's Lab is OK. The PowerPuff Girls are cute. Adult Swim is way cool.
I haven't watched the news in about 6 months.
To: Cyber Liberty
Me too. They last about a day and a half ;-).

TLC is fun to watch -- all those variations on a theme: Trading Spaces, Clean Sweep, While you were out, etc. They exist outside of the universe we occupy and are a good break therefrom.

This is one of the reasons why I regularly follow sports, namely basebal, football, and racing.

I have virtually stopped watching television news, both cable and network. I believe many others have as well. As their ratings decline, the networks engage in more and more hyperbolic idiocy. When I see them begin to actually report news instead of spewing propaganda to only inflame partisan emotions, I may watch again.

I decide to stop going to drudgereport, news channels, ect... and just watch Discovery channel or sports. That's what I do every day. I get my news from FR, and then at night just watch the Discovery channel or the Science channel. It's a bit easier to take all the depressing news when it's in print, for some reason, at least for me.
To: Psycho_Bunny
same here. I watch a lot of TNT prime time in the daytime {ER, Law & Order, & NYPD Blue}, Cartoon Network, and TV Land. It's better for my heart.

Well you got one thing right with your first name you mentioned as "bad news"
John Kerry.
BTW, very interesting that you registered on FR on 9/11/01.
My summation, McCauliffe's basement(as was bin ladin's) was very busy on that day, and you have been called with this post on FR as a "favor".
