Steve Harrigan Showcases Our American Heroes.
Posted on 05/12/2004 10:16:48 AM PDT by ConservativeMan55
Steve Harrigan is in Karbala with U.S. forces as they fight the radical Shitte cleric Muk'tada Al Sadr. Harrigan has been right in the thick of things with the heroes for the past week.
Right NOW..Harrigan just showed a picture of a Mosque. Harrigan said that this Moaque has been a haven for Islamic rebels for too long now. Then...Steve says..."NOW IT WILL BE LEVELED TO THE GROUND!"
Then....U.S. Soldiers proceeded to level it to the ground.
Steve is really showing some of the best footage I've ever seen from a War Correspondent.

Steve Harrigan joined FOX News Channel (FNC) as a Mid-East correspondent in September 2001.
Prior to joining FNC, Harrigan spent 10 years as a CNN correspondent based in Moscow where he reported from inside the Kremlin when then Soviet President Mikhail Gorbachev resigned in 1991, and covered the Chechen War extensively for the network.
During his tenure with the network, the Moscow bureau received the Peabody, DuPont, and Kaplan Awards for excellence in reporting. A graduate of Duke University, Harrigan holds a Ph.D. in comparative literature and is fluent in Russian.

Harrigan also reported from Afghanistan during that conflict. He would be doing reports and shots would start being fired in the background. He has always been very enlightening to watch.

Steve Harrigan deserves a PURPLE HEART (ribbon, medal, whatever).

Roger Ailes really needs to go down to the local Army/Navy store and buy Steve some better body armor. That bicycle helmet and red shirt under the skimpy flak vest just makes too good a target for these sadistic b**tards to shoot at and as you said, he is right in the thick of it.
