May 12, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - A young American contractor in Iraq was mercilessly beheaded by Islamic terrorists on a horrifying videotape released yesterday as so-called revenge for the abuse of Iraqi prisoners. The sickening video, posted on an al Qaeda-linked Web site, shows a killer identified as terror boss Abu Musab Zarqawi sawing off the head of a screaming Nick Berg.

he was probably hoping that he was just being used for propaganda purposes, he looked too calm to realize that he was moments from death. Imagine listening to that gibberish and wondering when it would ever end...and then it ended.

Wrong CA Guy. We have to make sure that these people know who has the power and is not afraid to use it, even if there is collateral damage. In fact civilian deaths are useful. They instruct the non-combatants that if they consort with the enemy they might die.

The Israeli's are training for a strike on the Iranian nuclear facilities. They will bomb before Iran produces a device. Perhaps a demonstration of the awful wrath of our God should be arranged. Turn one of their holy cities into glass DURING a festival. This might sound bloodthirsty, but it isn't. It is aimed at ending the war in our favor. Any other course is unaccepatable.

I feel that way too--overwhelmed with the hatred, rage, and darkness that seems to possess these people.

I have prayed that these terrorists' hearts are filled with love instead of hate, but then a video like that comes out and it's depressing.

It is depressing. First because their act is inhuman and a part of me wants to respond in kind but on a much larger scale. Second because I realize that responding in kind would just beget more violence. And yet nothing short of the full scale annihilation of one's enemies would seem to end this sordid matter. I'd like to think that I am more civil than my enemy, but I fear that I am not. Perhaps the reality is that I just have better weapons than my enemy but lack the resolve to use them, whereas my enemy would use them on me in a heartbeat if given the opportunity. I do not like to think such things. I've said it before, if I were the leader of the free world, I fear the world would be a smoldering ball of ash before the end of my first week. It's a good thing I am not.

I hope and pray Bush wakes the hell up and starts fighting this so-called war like a freakin' war! Oue enemy doesn't respect us for painting school walls. They don't respect us for restoring the power and water. They only respect strength and force, therefore they don't respect us at all. We're pussy footing around, trying to pretend our enemy is willing to negotiate, and wants peace. He doesn't. He wants global Islam, and to either convert you or kill you.

The only way to defeat him is to be more barbaric, more bloodthirsty, and wipe his freakin' nation off the face of the Earth. Then tell anyone who dares complain to shut the hell up, or they're next. We're in the fight of our lives, but we're not fighting. We're trying to treat this as a PR and Civil Affaris war. All that coimes after we've defeated our enemy.

I notice that the start of the animals' diatribe starts out with "Nation of Islam." Could this be a coded messages to their NOI cohorts in the United States to begin their campaign?

Mohammedans divide the world into the "World of Peace (dar Islam)," nations governed by Mohammedans, and the "World of War (dar al harb)," nations governed by non-Mohammedans.

The "nation of Islam" is probably another version of the "dar Islam."
