Kristinn just called me and asked me to post this thread.
He just called CBS Evening News and asked them if they were going to show the militant Islamists' video of the beheading of American Nick Berg.
The woman who answered the phone said that they were going to do a story on it, but they were NOT going to show the full video.
He asked them, "Why not, since you had no problem showing the pictures of the Iraqis being abused by our guys in the prison. Don't you think turnabout is fair play?"
The woman got mad and said, "Thank you for your comment." and then hung up the phone.
Call CBS Evening News and let your voice be heard!

Coward.
Knock off the personal attacks.
Very well. I apologize to Frapster for the personal attacks.
Thank you so much.
I keep telling her she must be adopted, LOL.
Apology humbly accepted. You are forgiven.
Your full name is 'Jethro Amburnydent'. Do I win something?
I wonder what will be the lead story on "60 Minutes".
Why would anybody watch it???? Who cares?
While I appreciate your continuing efforts to expose CBS's media bias...
I would also hope that, as a conservative, you would understand how airing the video of the beheading is "over-the-top" for American television. It is sufficient that the American people are aware of this horrific incindent, and it serves no valid purpose to broadcast the gory details. For that reason, I will not be contacting CBS as you request. I would consider such a broadcast to be in extremely poor taste and unnecessarily inconsiderate of the victim's friends, family and loved ones.

Well, well, we have somebody that thinks that it is ok for the rap world to spew thier crap and the decapitation is because we caused it???????
Dan Rather [in his dressing room]: Out, out, damn spot!
No you don't.
Go troll somewhere else.
It would be interesting to find out what the FCC has to say. I think they are using the FCC as an excuse because they did not want to show the picture, and also that CBS might be a little gun shy after the Janet Jackson affair.
I'm surprised that no other people contacting CBS was told this same thing. Do you think it is a "last minute opportunistic response"?
In reality, most people don't want to see them but they should at least have the photo with the head blurred out and the commentator describe it as Nick Berg's head being held by a terrorist.
I'm not buying CBSs story. They are backtracking because of the calls but I'll wait to hear from the FCC.
Ping me when you hear back please.
In the car on the way to our gig (hubby and I are musicians) last Wednesday 12th - we listened to the audio which Hannity played of this horrific beheading of Nick Berg.
It was unbearable - I shook, cried and was a mess the whole night - the next day Hannity played the audio again when he had on Zell Miller who had not heard or seen the video.
That time I took his warning and turned down the radio and stood in prayer for Nick.
I am so sick and tired of the continued mantra re: "prisoner abuse" - so what!! they were humiliated in the nude in front of eachother and and can you believe---women.
The media need to run videos of suffering Americans jumping out of the World Trade Center as well as the Nick Berg video. At least the audio. Along with still photos.
This is so severely serious - the war on terror will determine which way the planet goes. These people are trying to take over the planet earth.
This is what the left refuses to acknowledge.
GOD BLESS AMERICA. GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS. GOD BLESS NICK BERG. GOD BLESS DANIEL PEARL. GOD BLESS THE BRAVE ITALIAN WHO WAS EXECUTED. GOD BLESS THE SOULS WHO WERE MUDERED BURNED AND HUNG ON A BRIDGE. GOD BLESS ALL THE PEOPLE WHO LONG FOR FREEDOM.
Hi... hope I'm doing this right. Just joined yesterday. Does anyone have a still functioning link to the video? Everything I follow from previous posts is down.
Where can I find the video? I have looked on the internet, but can't find anything.
