DUBAI, May 11 (Reuters) - An Islamist Web site said Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, an ally of al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, was the man who cut off the head of an American in Iraq in a video tape shown on the site on Tuesday.
A masked man had read out a statement before the killing which was signed off with the name of Zarqawi and dated May 11.

I just emailed CBS, and told them they were directly responsible for Nick Berg's beheading.....and told them I am contacting all their sponsors to let them know I will NEVER buy any of their products. I am so angry, I'm about to burst! Thanks, CBS and DEMONRATS,for causing the death of this brave young man, who went to Iraq to help the Iraqi citizens......and his death is on your hands.

"I'd love to nuke the b*st*rds!"
Agreed. The only thing I'd do different is I'd call Sharon and say that it might be a good idea for the Israelis to go away for the weekend.

I would like to reiterate my position that all detainees should be immediately subject to the provisions of the Geneva Convention.
Lest anyone misunderstand, it provides (among other things) that persons in civilian clothes acting as combattants may be summarily executed.
I would like this reaffirmation of the Geneva Convention announced as being precisely that, and then carried out on live TV.
If I know my former comrades, there will be no shortage of volunteer executioners.

It is at times like these that I can;t help but think that the following line from Heavy Metal should be applied to these monsters --- "Hangins to good for em, Burnins to good for em, he should be cut into itty bitty pieces and buried alive!!"

Who's going to be the first RAT ,to be appointed by the DNC, to say this is Bushs' fault?

Who's going to be the first RAT to say this is Bushs' fault? This is the fault of whoever made the decision not to reduce Fallujah, knowing or suspecting that Zaqawari was there.
The bitter fruits of that terrible decision have barely begun to mature.

There is a prayer thread up for this young man and his family.
The "live" thread watching the Congressional hearings is having a discussion about this matter as well.

I am so mad at the media for this I could spit nails!!!!!!I have called, emailed all of them to let them know I blame them for this death. Our military ask them to not show the pictures because the terrorists still had hostages. For a news story and to defeat President Bush they didn't care. I hope we flood them so heavily that they crash. As terrible as it is, I dare them to show the beheading and see if we get an apology from the muslim world and its leaders. We won't stoop that low I know out of respect for this person's family, but the media helped kill this person.

before he was beheaded he spent a few weeks in an Iraqi jail. He said he was treated well.
after he was released he was kidnapped, and we see how the other side works

" Just another example of John Kerry's "overrated threat" at work."
Kerry says the threat is overrated and President Bush says they want to kill each and every one of us.
Hmmmm ...Whom to believe, whom to believe ??
I bet each of the throat slitters had DNC membership cards in their pockets.
Their allies in Congress are working overtime to protect their rights.
Maybe Kerry will use this in his next fund raising letter.

Will CBS run the video of the beheading? Will Kennedy, Clinton, and the rest of the 17 apologize and resign? They didn't do anything about the abuse report when they heard about it. Thank you Hackworth.
My sympathies to Nick Berg's family.

Agree totally. He is misreading the American people on this one. We want more done, not less.

I have several other audio tapes of Zarqawi's recent speeches. The voice is the same. He ID's himself. IMHO it's Zarqawi.

I was thinking the same thing as I drove in to work today. For the last several days, it has been 24 hour news coverage of this stupid story. Why the photos ever got released is beyond me.
The media has no shame, no remorse & will not view themselves as having done anything wrong. On the contrary, they will hail themselves as heroes for covering the story.
