Islamic Web site claims revenge killing Video shows beheading of man identified as AmericanBREAKING NEWS The Associated Press Updated: 1:28 p.m. ET May 11, 2004CAIRO, Egypt - A video posted Tuesday on an Islamic militant Web site showed a group affiliated with al-Qaida beheading an American civilian in Iraq, saying the death was revenge for the abuse of Iraqi prisoners by American soldiers.

The video showed five men wearing headscarves and black ski masks, standing over a bound man in an orange jumpsuit similar to a prisoners uniform who identified himself as Nick Berg, a U.S. contractor whose body was found on a highway overpass in Baghdad on Saturday.
My name is Nick Berg, my fathers name is Michael, my mothers name is Susan, the man said on the video. I have a brother and sister, David and Sarah. I live in ... Philadelphia.
After reading a statement, the men were seen pulling the man to his side and putting a large knife to his neck. A scream sounded as the men cut his head off, shouting Allahu Akbar! God is great. They then held the head out before the camera.
Berg was a small-business owner from the Philadelphia suburbs, his family said Tuesday.

Pass along your comment? That's not good enough. Where's an email address. We should shut down their system with a tidal wave.

"I shudder to think what the useful idiots over on DU are saying about this."
I hate to say it, especially in view of my espoused views on FR, but I am human...and the human response to your statement is...
I DON'T GIVE A F--- WHAT D.U. THINKS.

Remove the staff from Abu Ghraib prison. Lock the doors. Hose it down with pig fat. Drop a MOAB on it. No more prison. No more abused prisoners. Screw the murdering bastards.

I tried calling 60 Minutes but can't get through. I tried faxing them and it's busy too.
I'll keep trying as long as I need to. I am livid about this.

The question we have to ask ourselves is - why do they hate us so much and what have we done to cause all of this anger....WRRRRREEEEEEEEEEETCCCCCCHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHVomit. Get ready folks - that is the libs first reaction to such atrocities. We need more John Wayne types and fewer John Kerry types in our government.

I suspect no number of calls from those feel as we do about this will have any effect on CBS whatsoever. They are so convinced that they are right that they are beyond redemption. The ONLY thing they might understand is if their revenue were to begin to suffer. That will happen only when enough viewers begin to decline to shop with those who advertise on the network. That has to be an individual decision by the viewer(s). I can assure you I have reached that point with them, and if there's any way I can find to let the advertisers know of my decision I certainly will. They expect to have thousands of angry calls, that will only serve to reinforce their belief that what they did was right. When their revenue begins to fall they will be forced to make changes, but not until then.

DU is scared. They think the reaction to this may bring out violent tendencies in americans and our military. I hope they are right.

Please remember that my feelings about DU are to DU, not to you. I totally appreciate you, and those like you, helping us to cope, talking us off of the proverbial ledge.
So please know that when I forcefully say, I don't G.A.F. about DU, it was a response to your statement, not to you.

"If they think this will make U.S. public want to cut and run they are misunderestimating us."
You have got that right! While attempting to smear Bush and the conservatives with slime over the so-called prison abuse, Kennedy, Kerry, McCain et al sent a strong and wrongful message to these murdering sons of Islam; They failed to understand what we call "filthy self-serving politics" and decided that American people are all weak, privileged, snivelers. Allah better be on point for them!

Here is my e-mail to CBS:
"I'm sure that in the interest of the public's right to know, you will be repeatedly showing the video of Mr. Berg's beheading. I look forward to your continued journalistic integrity."

This certainly does nothing to negate the responsibility of the problems we have been having on our side with our own incorrigible military (and the perpetrators WILL be brought to US justice), but it certainly CONTEXTUALIZES it, in a comparative sense, against the far more evil acts being perpetrated by these terrorists.
How many Google News references on new storys on Abu Ghraib today? 500? How many on this Islamofascist terrorism? 20?

DU is scared??? Where is their outrage? Man, what a pantload of losers.

I am wondering just how long it will take these fools (libs and media) to realize that we must be united to fight these monsters. I am constantly shocked that they do not get it yet.
What will it take? Does anyone care to speculate?
