The last concern is somewhat confusing, because one would think a streetful of Muslims would be quite peaceful. LOL! Yes, they get tripped up on their platitudes from time to time.

HOLY S**T!!!
Alan Colmes just said there shouldn't be a "rush to judgement" by the American people.
I thought Ollie North was gonna choke him.

I just watched this video. I don't know what to say. I am speechless. Can we please stop trying to play the nice guys in the world and start killing all these muslums now. This video makes me want to sign up for work in Iraq and take my rifle with me. Seriously.

Yeah, but, you think we should first stop the endless apologize's before we start getting tough with these folks? We can get the job done now w/o apology...
We'll leave the apologies for the next time we have a Dem president (a la Clinton, Carter). (They love to apologize, so why deprive them!)

I'm with you. I'm sick and tired of our country having to apologize for doing what is necessary to wipe out terrorism where we find it and protect the citizens of this country.
Soing that should require no apology to anyone or country at ANY time.

Most of the links I've tried no longer work. It's like they don't want the video getting out. I think they should show it 24/7 on every news channel until the pacifist idiots in this country finally realize what kind of thing we're dealing with.
I finally pulled it off Kazaa, and it was grotesque. They intentionally used a dull knife, I'd bet on it. The screams were horrible. And if you watch close at the end, his lips still moved after they beheaded him. Considering it took under a minute, I have to wonder if his brain was still functioning. I'm pretty desensitized, but this made me madder than hell, and I'm completely disgusted at the sub-human bastards we're currently forced to share the planet with.
General Pershing had the right idea.
I'm sorry if this is too graphic a description, but I think it's important that people realize how callous this was. It was like they had no more care than gutting a fish.

I'm stunned. WSJ is reporting that 54% or the people surveyed in a USA Today/CNN Gallup poll say they think that liberating Iraq was a "mistake"!
I'm sorry, have we all just stuck our heads in the sand and are now pretending that it's Sept. 10th?

Only ten? I say we take out 10,000 of them for every American they kill. Pretty soon, we won't have to worry about them anymore.

Agreed. The 'prison abuse photos' are a bad frat house hazing. They do not constitute 'torture'. I wish we could send the creeps that are bitching about it through Marine Corps boot. It'd change how they see things, especially humiliation. I remember being convinced that I wasn't fit to breath the same air as the rest of the human race. Not to knock the Corps- they know exactly what they're doing, and you end up a much better person for it- with a perspective that most civilians cannot imagine.
As I mentioned on another thread, back in the old days, the Soviets put a stop to this kidnapping and murder crap of their nationals by grabbing a few of theirs and sending them home in a hefty bag in small pieces.
As badly as I want my country to take the high road, I don't think we're going to get anywhere by doing less. We're dealing here with savages of the most base possible kind.
I am in a bit of a quandry here. The Christian part of me says, "As bad as this is, we must not become as they are". The plain old Riley part of me wants to catch the guys in the video, and disassemble them a piece at a time with a Skil saw, stopping to cauterise the open wounds with a propane torch, and allowing their bodies shock to wear off between sessions so they feel it all, video tape it, and send the whole mess back to AlQ in a plastic bag along with the tape.
I'll pray on it, but I think I already know what the answer will be. So I will have to just eat it, and allow God to deal with these people.

what do you expect after non-stop saturation trash talk against the military for the last 2 months, with very little effective counter punching by the white house?
sad to say regarding this tragic event - but this may be the turning point that starts the backlash, that's why the big media is desperate to cover it up and not talk about it. but the white house must follow inhofe's lead, if they do not, the media will prevail.

I'm always surprised when Capt. Queeg...err...McCain takes the side of the Islamic apologists.
He of all people should feel the outrage that the rest of us do after being a long term resident of the Hanoi Hilton.
Jamie Rubin and Alan Colmes in a RAT love fest touting the "78 longs days we (the Clintoon administration)four a war with Serbia.
Arm chair QB'ing now about Iraq. Stupidity comeing from two guys who combined don't have enough intestinal fortitude to set one pinkie toe in Iraq.

I respect the sentiment, but in the Old Testament, God took no crap off of evil. He turned his full wrath against it. Using brutal force in retaliation against evil isn't evil itself. It's just desserts. If heaven itself can bring terrible destruction to bear against the purveyors of evil, I don't know why we can't as well, acting in the name of moral good and freedom, not to mention the defense of our country's very structure.
