HRC for the defense of Karpinski. Quotes her saying the pictures represent what they were told to do.
Taguba: Clear evidence there was friction between Karpinski and Pappas. Who was in charge when and what time. Context of ambiguity of order given to Pappas. However, Karpinski challenged his authority. Taguba held her responsible for lack of leadership, lack of training, lack of supervision.
Smith call HRC "sir" then correct to ma'am. Nobody reported to Miller (oops, there goes her chain of command theory).
Graham up.

you know how democrats are.....the key point was that the person in question doing the "bad" had a AK-47.....the question to the General was, "do any of our soldiers carry AK-47's" answer "no sir"

Senator Graham - we're failing ourselves by over-politicizing this.

She's confused ? Gee, she must be pretty dense. We have it figured out and we only learned of this matter about 10 days ago... She, OTOH, learned about it months ago from a Mr Lawson, uncle of one of the perpertrators.

It was an honest mistake on Gen Smiths part. Hard to tell if the Beestie is man, woman, or animal

Graham says when we say we're the good guys we should pull together. Partisanship has no place here (tell it to the dems and those who would act like OUR side sanctioned this abuse)

Ohhh. "We are overpoliticizing this!"
kick A*** Sen. Graham.
Gen Taguba has been in 32 years. (he must be something like 50)
Graham asked what Taguba would do with Hussein with dogs?
We still have to follow the international rules of war.

Totally off topic, but I am thinking of ordering pizza. Has anybody had the new Pizza Hut Buffalo Chicken pizza. It looks good, but I don't want dissapointment. Pizza is a seriesly hugh issue to me.

Probably furlough. Damn. Hang in there! My husband found a job flying for a business jet outfit while waiting for things to open back up. Doesn't pay much, but it keeps him current and out of my hair.
Any chance of maybe another airline? There are a few out there that are recalling and starting to hire.
