"This man gave a lot to his Country, and that can't be forgotten!"
Yes, one time HACKworth did serve his country...all of which has been more then forgotten by his self-serving conduct and lack of personal honor. He now sells out our troops for a hand full of silver and some air time.

This man gave a lot to his Country, and that can't be forgotten!I am a student of History. Benedict Arnold gave a lot to his Country unless he became angry at events not proceeding according to his wont. Afterward his actions became treasonous, and that can't be forgotten !.
Put Col. Hackworth under oath and find out what he did. Investigate all his claims.

Good tag line. I'm wondering if any of the accused or other participants have stood up and taken responsibility for their actions. There seems to be the standard Democratic Party theme here of perverted behavior and non responsibility.

You may have forgotten, I have not.
And as far as the following is concerned,
He now sells out our troops for a hand full of silver and some air time.
You're entitled to your opinion, of course, it isn't one I share however. And again, and as I wrote to af-vet, we'll just have to agree to disagree.

"You may have forgotten, I have not."
That's the problem...I will never forget all of HACKworths efforts to enrich himself at the expense of the people in uniform and any personal honor he may have ever had.
I will never forget that this POS is more concerned with getting his French looking face on TV then with protecting the lives of our people in Iraq.
Forget...no way.

Fine, give me a holler once the treason charge is brought forth and made plain. In the meantime we're not going to agree, so this to and fro is pretty pointless.
You have nothing concrete to disuade me from my views, I have nothing concrete to disuade you from yours. Difference is I don't really feel the need to disuade you. I'm perfectly happy to let you hold and keep your opinion as I don't find it threatening to mine. I'm just responding to your posts to me out of courtesy.

I - I - I - It's all about ME and my superior knowledge that goes beyond all the military brass. Why don't they check with ME first before making decisions!! Have you read his book Steel My Soldiers' Hearts? If not, you have no idea how true your statement above is!
You can't help but think he's got an ulterior motive in everything he does, and lying and distorting facts are just a minor rung on the ladder towards whatever he wants...

I have not read his book but have watched him on TV many times. He used to be on a lot.
His latest stunt is really over the top. He should be ashamed!

I just received another reply from Hack, I will say one thing about him he does reply when called out.
From Hack:
Pls show me where I said I hated the Prez. Sure said this about
Clinton -
many times - Bush never. Just show me..
Thx you for your service. Hack
Notice he never denies his political reasonings, or why he did it which I called him out on. I will reply on this one too if I can find the evidence.

Oh, I made a small mistake about one of the sites on which your boy Olmholt posts as SKYDRIFTER. That would be freedomunderground.org, not .com.
And his libertypost.org scribblings (its an antisemitic hate site) can be found here: http://libertypost.org/cgi-bin/latestcomments.cgi?Fm=skydrifter&To=&SNSearch=+Go+ &PN=

"You don't go to war with the army you ought to have, or wish you had. You go with the army you have. If that means drawing on reserve and guard units, thats what you do."
And we were at war from 9/11/2001. What did SSG Frederick's Reserve unit do during monthly drills and annual training from the moment we were at war until they were called upon to deploy to the Middle East? The unit had to have a training schedule that was approved by higher headquarters as getting them mission ready. Did they adhere to the schedule or not?
I just can't get sympathetic toward a E-6 who claims he lacks the basic skills to perform his assigned duties. He is expected to lead and look out for the interests of his subordinates. And that includes making sure they get as realistic training as possible. If the pre-deployment training was inadequate SSG Frederick should have raised the matter then. Are there records of him complaining about lack of training before deployment?

I just sent him a message asking what PFC Maupin, an American POW held by the bad guys will think of his part in the picture release.

His book is a fasinating trip into a an over inflated ego and very bitter POS. He tells the reader how great he is all the time, and constantly blames his failures on everyone else.
To: jwalsh07
Better yet, ask him how many pieces of silver her earned this time selling the safety of our troops out.

HACKworth stopped responding to me a long time ago when I asked similar questions.
To: marron
... We expect our soldiers to be men of character, and while that means you don't commit atrocities, it also means you don't lose sight of your moral war aims.
Thankyou, marron. This is the kind of thoughtful posting that makes FR so valuable!
