Fingerprint links Oregon with Spain
Oregonian Live ^ | May 08, 2004 | Marc Larabee, Steven Beaven, Kathleen Blythe, Bryan Denson and Lori Tobias
This story could have "legs" that take us all over the US and the world re: Islamoterrorism.
Someone better start seriously thinking about these terrorists in Kosovo....talk about a world sactioned breeding ground--
Bosnian Arrested in Madrid Bombings Probe
The FBI analysts also found indications that whoever left the fingerprint on the bag involved in the Madrid bombings had some connection to the Yugoslav province of Kosovo, where international Islamic extremists have been active. Some of the so called leaders of the enviral whacko groups have called themselves Jihadists.
BOTH Mayfield and sniper John entered the army at Ft. Lewis in 1985.
They both married Muslim women in 1988. They both converted to the Muslim religion.
"One of Mayfield's attorneys, Tom Nelson..."

All cell phones in Europe use SIM cards.
T-Mobile, part of the Deutsche Telekom behemoth, offers SIM cards in the US.
As I understand, T-Mobile has penetrated the US market very effectively in the Pacific Northwest.
SIM cards figure prominently in the Madrid bombings.

Check out this connection. Here is a link to a fundraiser they had at the Beaverton mosque June 2001. Note the keynote speaker is Shaykh Rabih Haddad (GRF)

Now, look who Rabih Haddad is:

Here's a quote from Haddad that's in the above article:"You may not like it, but [financially supporting jihad] is part of the religion,"

Good God, I hope so- we really have nestled a viper in our bosom by tolerating so many anti-America groups of extremists.

Thanks for putting this all on one thread backhoe. There was another link I posted on one of the threads from the last couple of days. It was a "islamic yellow pages". For the whole country there were only 13 (if I recall correctly) listing for attorneys catering to the islamic community. Who was listed? Why, Mayfield and Nelson of course. I can dig back in my posts if you like.

Bosnian Arrested in Madrid Bombings Probe

When the "Son of Al-Queda" (the name for a young man who'd lived in the
bin-Laden enclave) went to work for the CIA, they "inserted" him into
the terrorist networks by sending him to attend a mosque in Bosnia.
I guess Bosnia is a real hot-bed for jihadis.
(this was covered in the PBS Frontline episode "Son of Al-Quida")

That attorney Tom Nelson of Portland Oregon...I've been racking my brain to remember where I had seen that name before Mayfield's case. He's also representing the Iraq POW who was "beaten" by a guard. Time for the media to investigate how THIS attorny is connected to such "remote" cases...Any guesses as to attorney Nelson's religion?

I have been to the website of that Beaverton Mosque several times during the WOT. I recollect at least two (maybe three) linkages to terrorists / suspects. I hope the FBI has that place "up".

Interestingly, Intel employees appear multiple times:

"An ex-Intel employee who was recently arrested now admits to attempting to aid the Taliban regime in Afghanistan. Apparently, Maher "Mike" Hawash, who was instrumental in designing the Multi Media Extension (MMX) technology, admits that he traveled to China in 2001 in an attempt to cross over into Afghanistan, but failed to get to Pakistan."

http://www.geek.com/news/geeknews/2003Aug/bch20030807021214.htm

Separately, this gentleman defends the Mosque where Mayfield attends:

"Shahriar Ahmed joined Intel in 1985"

http://www.intel.com/technology/itj/q31998/articles/art_1.htm

"I'm sure everything is fine. This has to be a mistake," mosque administrator Shariar Ahmed told CBS News.

Busy folks at the Beaverton Bilal Mosque and Intel.

BINGO! MAYFIELD'S DEFENDER TOM NELSON IS MUSLIM:

"The resolution is based on the notion of two "viable, independent states," one Israeli, one Palestinian, according to group member Tom Nelson, a Portland Muslim and an outspoken proponent of a separate Palestinian state."

More on Mayfield's defender, Tom Nelson:

"The lecture by Hanan Ashrawi, a native of Palestine who earned a doctor of philosophy degree in English at the University of Virginia, is at 7:30 p.m. in the Great Hall of the Valparaiso Union. It is open to the public without charge."

The lecture is sponsored by the VU School of Law with the support of Tom and Esther Nelson of Lake Oswego, Oregon. Tom Nelson is a 1973 graduate of the (Valparasio) School of Law."

Tom's a busy boy:

"Tom Nelson of Portland made two trips in the past year (and several before that with the International Solidarity Movement). He returned from his most recent trip determined that the Guild should become involved in ongoing litigation in Israel challenging some of the worst aspects of the occupation. In cooperation with Israeli attorney Michael Sfard, Tom drafted an amicus brief on behalf of the Guild and IADL in a lawsuit by Israeli and Palestinian human rights organizations challenging Israel’s ongoing policy of targeted assassinations as violative of international law. The petition to allow the filing of the brief is pending before the Israeli Supreme Court."
