"Do you have any idea when the SwiftBoat story will be on Fox today?"

It ran about an hour ago. (EST)

I can't give you the particulars, other than it was about 10 minutes long, and it was stated that more would be aired next week.

More astute Freepers ... HELP!

Won't be surprised if Scott Ritter's name comes up as being paid by Saddam.

I caught the tail end of this - the guy's name is John Loftis. Where have I heard his name before?

I hope the President takes this arrow out of the quiver and shoots it fast. If ever there was a time to bump a big story off the drooling media, it's NOW.

But then, the GOP high PR mucky-mucks have never been known for good timing and taking advantage of breaking news. They seem to think the pathetic "conservative" Tucker Carlson-types of the TV world will do their work for them.

Well now, will wonders never cease. What else will come slithering out from under this rock of corruption?

Will the media be able to cover this up? It's a huge and very interesting story. Well, we'll see. I'll bet they TRY to cover it up. They've invested far too much of their credibility in "no WMDs" to let mere facts stand in their way.

This kind of thing certainly kills the pretense that the media neglect certain stories because they don't increase ratings or circulation. That's a load of horse manure. Think of all the newspapers they could have sold with the Chinese treason story.

Or, for that matter, with human interest stories about the good work our troops are doing in Iraq. Even the American deaths would have far more meaning if they were seen as the deaths of heroes rather than as proofs that Bush is a bad president. But, no. The media are too far gone to change without some sort of huge blowup.

John Loftus said that that the UK MI-5 dug out the info, so it's reliable.

Fox report sounded like there is lots more to come. The lady journalist that had been in Viet Nam at the time was great. She sounded like she won't drop this story.

It's come up in a roundabout way: Saddam paid the guy who financed Ritter's "documentary." It wouldn't surprise me if more turned up. I don't think we've scratched the surface yet.

So is journalist Christopher Hitchens going to spill the beans or play coy still...article from Feb. 2003

Inspecting "Inspections"

"...Faced with all these material breaches, including conclusive evidence that the Iraqi authorities know when they are dropping by and where, the "inspectors" have to admit that they have become the objects of inspection rather than the conductors of it. In fact, it's glaringly apparent that their ranks have been infiltrated, or suborned, or both. I know of at least one incontrovertible case where a senior inspector was offered a huge bribe by Tariq Aziz himself: The man in question refused the money, but obviously not everybody did. Those who are calling for "more time" in this process should be aware that they are calling for more time for Saddam's people to complete their humiliation and subversion of the inspectors. ..."

Don't you realize that 'dressing terrorists in woman's panties', is much more CATASTROPHIC than Middle Eastern terrorists getting Nukes? Fox news may just be the ONLY news outlet you hear this from and the print media will bury it in a one paragraph story on page F-47.

Could the planets be lining up to take out alQerry AND the corrupt mud hut United Nations? Let's review our notes:

JF'nK backs down on "No WMDs" claim

Oil-for-Bribes scandfal only reaching higher at UNHQ

Blix and the boys on retainer from Saddam

We could be heading into a perfect storm that takes out a lot of these criminals (including the NY slimes, the bucketneck senior senator from Massachusetts and Cankles Clinton herself).

Dare to dream, FR. Good times are comin'.
