We joined Hillary Clinton's questioning of Donald Rumsfeld during Friday's program which you can hear, along with my expert commentary, in the audio link below.

In the first part of Hillary's question, right before we came out of the break, she was saying that you don't need these pictures to be revulsed. That just reading descriptions of these pictures is enough to revulse anybody.

I'm going to tell you, folks. Mark the date, May 7th, 2004. She and others who say that are going to regret that they said it. I will say no more. I'm just telling you there's a good chance that if we learn all there is to know about this, that describing this as revulsing is going to be really offensive to some people.

These alleged abuses are unforgiveable, but, give me a break. There seems to be a matter of OVERKILL going on. Investigate and prosecute and let's move on!

I'll take a stab at it.........could it be nothing could be more revulsing than the Twin Towers lying in a heap with a few thousand innocent lives lying beneath it and her partner in crime and stupidity are responsible? Just a guess.

Kudos to Sen. Liberman also for his statement during the attempted "grilling" of Sec.Defense Rumsfeld today too...did any of the (R) party make a similar statement??

That just reading descriptions of these pictures is enough to revulse anybody.

Maybe he means that if the descriptions were enough, there was no reason to publish the photos. The descriptions were already disclosed by the military. Hillary even admits here that the photos don't help anything. Something along those lines?

Perhaps because of what some of the acts shown may end up being. Considering the democrat constituancy...calling the acts in the pictures revolting etc. may end up being the same as calling some of their constituants...um....well

Thanks to Hillary I've added a new word to my vocabulary.

However
according to the OED
the verb 'to revulse' now is obsolete or rare
having dropped out of use
in the 17th century.

'to revulse' means to drag, draw back, tear away.

Somehow
I don't think Hillary meant to use it in this way.

...After squirming angrily in her seat all during the Hearing HILLARY then angrily struted up to the Press mikes in the hallway angrily declaring today's Hearing ..difficult.

I'm a retired cop with over 30 years experience on the department of one of the fair-sized cities in the Chicago area collar counties.

When I retired I was the commander in charge of my department's investigations division — that is, detectives and juvenile officers.

To my eye, these photos smack of homoerotic sadomasochism.

I think the unit in question had a pervert problem.

Hillary and her liberal pals may have stepped in it with their constituents by denouncing these acts rather than celebrating them.
