Parents of Terri Schindler-Schiavo Told to Pay to See Their Daughter

Parents of Terri Schindler-Schiavo Told to Pay to See Their Daughter

Clearwater, FL May 7, 2004: In yet another bizarre twist of the Terri Schindler-Schiavo case, the Schindler family was informed that they must now pay a fee for “security” each time that they want to visit their daughter.

On Wednesday, May 5, 2004, Deborah Bushnell of Dunedin, an attorney representing Michael Schiavo, faxed a letter to attorneys representing the parents of Terri Schindler-Schiavo.

In her communication, Ms. Bushnell recommended that Ms. Schiavo's parents could be permitted to visit their disabled daughter if they would agree to hire an off-duty police person to accompany them. This comes after attorney Patricia Anderson, who represents Ms. Schiavo's parents, filed a Writ of Quo Warranto, demanding that Mr. Schiavo demonstrate what authority he has to deny his wife visits from her immediate family. Should the Schindlers fail to pay, they would be denied visitation rights.

Ms. Schiavo currently has an off-duty police person, paid for by Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, assigned to her on a 24 hour a day basis. Additionally, the Schindlers have reported that, during their visits, nursing staff frequently enter their daughter's room.

Ms. Schiavo's parents, Bob and Mary Schindler, have not been permitted to visit her since March 29, 2004 (39 days), when attorney George Felos of Dunedin issued a press release stating that suspicious marks were found on her arm. A toxicology study conducted on Ms. Schiavo concluded that no unauthorized chemicals were found in her system. Ms. Schiavo's parents, along with her siblings, had attempted to visit her the following day at Park Place Assisted Living and were turned away by nursing staff in compliance with "Mr. Schiavo's orders".

Statement of Attorney Patricia Anderson:

By recommending that the financially-strapped Schindlers may only visit Terri if they pay yet another off-duty police person to accompany them, is an effort to inhibit them from freely seeing their own daughter. A couple of years ago, Michael Schiavo contacted Terri's parents and offered to give the balance of Terri's money over to charity. He and his attorneys used this a talking point for the media - claiming that Michael had no financial interest in Terri's death. What they neglected to mention was that that particular offer was predicated upon the Schindler's agreeing to Terri's dehydration and starvation death.

This latest tactic from Ms. Bushnell is really no different. I will not be surprised if Ms. Bushnell uses this as another talking point with the media in an attempt to make her and her client appear less cruel.

No mother should have to pay an admission fee to see her child on Mother's Day. Perhaps Ms. Bushnell has forgotten how most people spend Mother's Day."

Ms. Bushnell is the author of the policy of denying all kindness, mercy or comfort to Terri, lest it set a legal precedent for giving her therapy. If Terri gets therapy, then their "case" for killing her falls apart. There is no crueller person on earth than Bushnell.

Would you be so good as to translate that into English? It certainly appears that Bushnell made a contribution to Greer, but I don't want to guess.

That place is also reserved for lawyers and the Judicial System. If that were my daughter they would certainly get to put me on trial because I would kill this lawyer and Michael if I could if they kept me from seeing my daughter.
The Judicial System in America stinks and lawyers make up their rules as they go. They make the laws and interpet them. It is a brotherhood of crooks that cover for each other.
The "Rule of Law" should be mentioned as the "Rule by Law" and that would explain why the Liberal Democrats circumvent the Judicial System in this country. That is their way of controlling America under the guise of "Rule of Law"

Big improvement and no apologies, please, not your fault.

So here we have lawyer Deborah Bushnell, with business in the court of Judge George Greer, brazenly giving money to the same Judge Greer. Judge Greer, in turn, makes a long series of bizarre rulings on behalf of lawyer Bushnell's client.

Boy, can he be bought cheap.

Success. But, at some more convenient moment, I could use a tour guide getting to the meat and potatoes in the report. Sure looks like a cover-up.

But before he can get to hell, he is very popular in FL. Notice that he continues to win the on-line polls; people there want Terri dehydrated and starved. They don't want such inflicted on themselves, but they do on Terri.

Yes, all these who want to dehydrate and starve poor Terri are evil. But also our fellow Americans who applaud this "mercy killing" are just as evil (or uninformed). Or both?

This is Terri's 40th day of forced isolation from her parents, siblings, priest, those who love her and her 1489th day confined to just a single small room by Hospice of the Florida Suncoast (give or take a few days of having to be in the hospital from neglect and almost being dehydrated/starved to death). Just when you thought the bottom of the barrel was being reached. now there is a fax from Michael Schiavo's attorney Deborah Bushnell that the Schindlers could be permitted to visit their daughter if they pay for an off duty police officer to accompany them (arranged by Deborah Bushnell & Co. of course): Deborah A. We inquired of Hospice as to whether they would allow their security officers to be in the room during Robert and Mary Schindlers' visitation. To date, we have not received their consent to this arrangement, and it does not seem likely that such an arrangement can be made with them in the near future. In the interim, the Schindlers may visit Terri in the presence of a security officer. However, we would have to make private security options. If your clients are agreeable to paying the cost of such supervision, please let us know, and we will follow up to make arrangements for the visitation and let you know the cost. Sincerely, Deborah A. Bushnell cc Michael Schiavo George J. Felos, Esq. Scott P. Swope, Esq. Terri is denied any extensive/comprehensive range of motion therapy or any kind of therapies that could make her better. Terri is not terminal yet Michael Schiavo is trying hard to make it so. AHCA's April 1st investigation didn't see anything wrong with Terri's teeth yet shortly after their investigation 5 teeth were completely removed from her mouth, with no restorative work considered. How could the AHCA not have noticed anything wrong? The surveyors notes of this investigation are a must read. They show to what lengths Hospice of Florida Suncoast, Michael Schiavo, etc. are going to deceive investigators to cover up the fraud and criminal neglect they are committing upon Terri, the people of Florida, United States and the world. The AHCA appears to be complicit in aiding and abetting these crimes. These Chapter 119 documents are available upon request. Your first pdf (first link) which appears to be 58 pages opens with errors, which puts a "black out" over each page. The others worked fine for me, so it doesn't seem like it's my computer.

If I had a clue what would fix it, I'd tell you, but I sure don't. :-(

Thanks for providing the hosting site!

Please get this information to Attn Conner (or Connor-sp?), the wonderful lawyer who is working on Terri's behalf at the request of Jeb Bush.

It may mean nothing, and it may mean EVERYTHING.

And it would be a good idea to talk to this lawyer over the phone, stressing the importance of him checking in on the Terri threads on FR. The ideas here are solid, and may provoke new avenues of appeal or defense for Terri.

Let's not assume he is aware of the website. And let's not refer to it in a simple email.

And Pat Anderson needs to be made well aware of this information regarding Bushnell. And she should also be calling a news conferance immediately to inform the Florida people of MS'c cruel denial of visitation. INCLUDING THE FACT THAT TERRI's PRIEST IS NOT ABLE TO SEE TERRI. She should PUBLICALLY ASK THE QUESTION--------------DOES TERRI's PRIEST NEED TO HIRE A RENT A COP AS WELL?

Mother's DAY is the PERFECT DAY to inform AMERICA of the horrors MS has laid upon Terri and her family. MS's concubine needs to NAMED and the dilemma of their marriage plans FULLY LAID OUT FOR THE PUBLIC.

A divorce requires MS get an anullment of his marriage to Terri via the Pope. That can take years. If Terri is dead....PROBLEM SOLVED.

Can it get any worse than this?!

Our Lady of Good Remedy Novena

Our Lady of Good Remedy

O QUEEN OF HEAVEN and earth, Most Holy Virgin, we venerate thee. Thou art the beloved Daughter of the Most High God, the chosen Mother of the Incarnate Word, the Immaculate Spouse of the Holy Spirit, the Sacred Vessel of the Most Holy Trinity.

O Mother of the Divine Redeemer, who under the title of Our Lady of Good Remedy comes to the aid of all who call upon thee, extend thy maternal protection to us. We depend on thee, Dear Mother, as helpless and needy children depend on a tender and caring mother.

Hail, Mary

O LADY OF GOOD REMEDY, source of unfailing help, grant that we may draw from thy treasury of graces in our time of need.

Touch the hearts of sinners, that they may seek reconciliation and forgiveness. Bring comfort to the afflicted and the lonely; help the poor and the hopeless; aid the sick and the suffering. May they be healed in body and strengthened in spirit to endure their sufferings with patient resignation and Christian fortitude.

Hail, Mary

DEAR LADY OF GOOD REMEDY, source of unfailing help, thy compassionate heart knows a remedy for every affliction and misery we encounter in life. Help me with thy prayers and intercession to find a remedy for my problems and needs, especially for... Terri Schiavo and her loving family.

On my part, O loving Mother, I pledge myself to a more intensely Christian lifestyle, to a more careful observance of the laws of God, to be more conscientious in fulfilling the obligations of my state in life, and to strive to be a source of healing in this broken world of ours.
Dear Lady of Good Remedy, be ever present to me, and through thy intercession, may I enjoy health of body and peace of mind, and grow stronger in the faith and in the love of thy Son, Jesus.

Hail, Mary

V. Pray for us, O Holy Mother of Good Remedy,
R. That we may deepen our dedication to thy Son, and make the world alive with His Spirit.

I've spoken to an attorney this morning. Ms. Bushnell's contribution is not an illegal matter, but is certainly an unethical one.

In that list of benefactors to Greer's campaign, a number of other names come out - all with ties to Hospice of Florida Suncoast. I am doing the footwork now and will post asap.

I think we are sitting on top of a far bigger mountain than we ever imagined, kids.

Greer HAS TWO Republican attorneys running against him for mishandling guardianship cases, including Terri's. Greer was non-plussed about one running against him. Wait until the second candidate announces. All GOP. I've been saying for some time that the Republican Party in Pinellas County is fractured and in disarray. They did it to themselves for their ALLEGIANCE to an incompetent man who should have been given the boot before he could cause so much DAMAGE in our community.

I think I have this Judge thing figured out. Although they do not have free speech, apparently they can AT LEAST CRITICIZE THE INCUMBENT'S RECORD. That's what I was saying. An Anti-Greer campaign based on his DISMAL record is a must.
