Some parents are upset over the timing of a school field trip that sends Broward County students to Orlando theme parks in the middle of Gay Days.
Gay Days, which is expected to bring about 140,000 people to the Orlando area in early June, is advertised as "creating a gay and lesbian atmosphere" throughout the region by organizing "theme park visits, over-the-top dance parties, and round-the-clock good times."

Williams says she knew because she was in Orlando visiting with her family a few years ago when Gay Days happened to be going on. At Disney World and Universal Studios, she and her husband were offended by men groping each other in the streets, she said. She had her family left Disney early when, she says, she saw men wearing sexually explicit T-shirts and her husband saw a man in drag with no underwear beneath his skirt.
LOL! This doesn't surprise me a bit. Find out more about what happens on Disney Gay Days by reading this excerpt from "Al Gore's" MOVIE REVIEW of Pirates Of The Caribbean:
Disney World Gay Day has grown into a really big event in the Gay world and attracts about 100,000 "alternative lifestyle" folks on that occasion. The big problem is what happens to other visitors to Disney World who are unaware that they have arrived on Gay Day.
Of course, as a liberal Democrat, I am fully supportive of Gay Day at Disney World. Recently, Senator Russell Feingold even attacked a vicious right-wing judicial nominee for canceling out on taking his kids to Disney World when he found out he would be visiting there on Gay Day. As a fellow liberal, I applaud Senator Feingold for using that incident to attack the bigoted nominee. However, I wonder just how comfortable Feingold would be if he visited Disney World with his son on Gay Day. The father-son conversation would probably go like this:
---------------------------------------------------------
"Father, why is this day different from all other days?"
"This day is different, son, because it is Gay Day. I brought you here not only to enjoy the rides but also to learn to appreciate and tolerate alternative lifestyles."
"So why are there so many guys wearing small metal hoops on their chests?"
"Uh, those are actually nipple rings, son. However, please remember not to be judgmental."
"And why are those guys over there wearing shiny little pants?"
"Um . . . they're wearing leather jockstraps son. Let's not condemn them for their incredibly kinky preferences."
"Why are so many people sticking their tongues out at each other?"
"It's just their way of showing affection, son. Remember to keep your mind open and non- condemnatory."
"Is it also a form of affection for them to lick each other's tummies like those guys over there?"
"Never mind, son. Let's just take a bathroom break and go on some rides."
"Okay, Dad . . . Why are those guys riding each other bareback over by the toilet stalls?
"Son, I think it is time we leave Disney World and go home."
"And is that a corn dog that other guy on his knees is munching on?"
"Let's leave . . . NOW!!!"
---------------------------------------------------------
Yeah, in theory Gay Day sounds like a good idea but even folks as liberal as Senator Feingold and me would be very uncomfortable taking our kids to Disney World on that day. Perhaps, in order to save people embarrassment, there should be flashing street signs on all roads leading to Disney World letting everybody know that "TODAY IS GAY DAY!"
And if people are still too clueless to figure out the implications of this, Disney World should be surrounded by loudspeakers blasting out the following message:
"TODAY IS GAY DAY! DISNEY WORLD WILL BE FLOODED BY 100,000 GOD-FORSAKEN SODOMITES COMMITTING UNNATURAL ACTS! PLEASE BE WARNED THAT YOU WILL BE BRINGING YOUR CHILDREN HERE AT YOUR OWN RISK! YOU WILL HAVE TO ANSWER INCREDIBLY EMBARRASSING QUESTIONS FROM THEM ABOUT WHAT THEY WILL SEE HERE. THEY WILL BE SUBJECTED TO SHOCKING MENTAL IMAGES THAT WILL HAUNT THEM FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIVES . . . HAVE A NICE DAY AND ENJOY YOUR VISIT TO DISNEY WORLD."
Yeah, so we liberals will continue to denounce Republicans as bigots for avoiding Disney World on Gay Day but that doesn't mean we will take our own children there on that day. SHUDDER!

I'm suspicious about the timing of this field trip. The Broward School Board folks in charge of scheduling must have known about Gay Days. It is always on the first Saturday in June. Methinks this was an attempt by a "multi-culturalist" to expose school kids to "alternative lifestyles." All this will do is incite the gays to act even more outlandish when they see those kids.

One of the mothers has already said that this school trip was historically planned in May...before Gay Days. She thinks someone moved the time back to specifically coincide with it.

We sold ALL our stock in Disney for this very reasons several years ago. There are lots of other fine parks in this great land of ours, and thousands of beautiful natural wonders; like the Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Yosemite and historical places like Gettysburg National Military Park. There are hundreds more in each an every State of the Union. Check out our National Parks,
http://www.nps.gov/ they are yours and mine by birth right pardner. You don't have to take your kids to a dang queer festival, visit our great and glorious country.

"Yeah, in theory Gay Day sounds like a good idea . . ."
Sounds like a politically correct patronization of a group of people who want to be treated - like everyone else - but want to be socially exempt from any rules of 'engagement' in public.
Why not a 'special day' for those who are adherents to S&M. . .or whatever?

Steve Kane show is covering this - I say its more than just a koinkydink. Yup! I first heard about this story while listening to the Steve Kane Show this morning. He said that Disney Gay Days participants act so outlandish because it is like saying a collective "FU" to the rest of society.

Solution to this problem: Keep kids away from all Disney, all the time. No problem.

This is no accident on both parts. The broward county school board adopted the GLSEN curriculum to indoctrinate students to homosexual lifestyle with the help of GLSEN and their "Gay Straight Aliance" clubs.
The is why these homosexuals selected the first week in june. This is when schools end, this is when schools do summer trips. The homosexuals WANTED ACCESS TO CHILDREN.

Why doesn't the MSM do a documentary on Gay Day at Disneyworld and the partying that follows?
I am sure what is on public display for anyone to watch makes the "atrocities" pics in Iraq look like Captain Kangaroo.

Mike Record, a gay teacher at Plantation Middle School, says he has been to the parks during Gay Days and "very little goes on that a parent would have to be concerned about." He called concerns to the contrary "homophobia."
"The perception that children don't belong among gay people is what [we] have been fighting for so long," he said. "It feeds into that perception that gay people are pedophiles."
MIKE RECORD IS THE HOMOSEXUAL IN CHARGE OF BROWARD'S GLSEN! He is not just a "gay" teacher, he is the head recruter of children.
This homosexuals statements sum everything up, he is out to indoctrinate children as to the "normalcy" of choosing the homosexual lifestyle.
He is very aware of the FACT that homosexuals are far more likely to be pedophiles. There have been enough threads here on FR covering this. This was set up and this is now going to cheat some kids out of a reward for hard work.

With all the publicity on this I expect to see a lot of Broward parents bailing out on letting their kids go to Disney during the Gay Days. I definitely see a lot of trip refund checks being sent out.
