I'm finding it all terribly humerous. Of course the press and the left are going to use this for everything they can, but in reality, those photos look like something off of just about any college campus in the U.S. The first time I saw one of the pictures I thought I recognized Jim Bulushi.

As for the Oh-So-Conservative crowd on FR, this is just reason 9,246 why President Bush will loose and why they cannot vote from him again.

Not a whole lot new.

Prove something I never denied? Big whop for you, huh? I said I said it and I stand by it.

Funny, how you can personally attack others, and state "I only like white people" with not a shread of anything to back up your vile accusations, and personal attacks, not one *single* quote from any of my posts, yet others including myself can clearly document and *quote* you using personal attacks and nasty, unfounded accusations routinely.

In other words, you can say anything you want here, but others must refrain from personal attacks.

LOL! This is great!

He was talking about how some are criticizing the President and showing the pictures from the prison and blaming the military for the actions of a few and not showing pictures of the good that many are doing and then showed a picture of a soldier helping Iraqi children

If Fox puts up a link of it .. I'll ping you to it

Read #623.
You're talking to yourself right now.
Gee Joe, you're really doing great...
First Texasforever had to straighten you out,
and now you're going after Howlin.

Have you managed to weave immigration into this thread yet?

Bush should of sent Little Miss Dynamite!

I'm sorry, so sorry,
that I was such a fool,
I didn't know,
That life could be so cruel,
Oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh yes...

I suspect next that Rush and/or Savage will be called a DNC operative for being critical of this mess.

I will not call Rush a DNC operative but he was simply wrong today as he is everyday he claims Bush does things so people will like him. By Rush's own admission his interpersonal skills have been off for decades so it is no wonder he can't tell the difference between being sorry for a situation and taking responsibility. Americans need to hear that, they need perspective on this, they need leadership that condemns that conduct without tainting the entire mission. I am thankful the President apologized in the way he did.

I would like to register my annoyance that anybody on this forum who agrees with the President on any given day is called a Bushbot by some who disagree.

Kind of late for that on this thread. The Bushbots struck first with the personal name-calling and the "with us or against us" insinuations just like they always do. Then when called on it the Bushbots demand apologies and start pinging moderators. Thread will be pulled once they've embarassed and soiled themselves enough. Sound familar.

I posted a copy of the entire transcript at post #391 swheats. I hope that some of the cable news networks replay a clip of the speech. The President was a bit hoarse, maybe from screaming at some of his subordinates, maybe from too much talking, or perhaps coming down with a cold or something. However one could tell he meant what he said. That is one thing about GWB. He does not hide his emotions and that does not make him any less of a man or make him appear weak. I would suspect that if anything this would strengthen him and strenghten others opinion of him. It shows that he is not made of stone.

I for one am proud of him.

Bush reminds me of Jimmy Charter. Too bad there is no one of Reagan stature to replace Bush. It getting very very hard to remain a Republican.

You could not be more wrong,he is better than ever. He works very hard, and is very emotional when he sees all his good work go down. I was upset about this so called apology also, but I am confident that the "rope a dope" strategery is in place, and the dirty dems will have more crapola next week. Rush is very astute, and we need him, even if we do not agree with him all the time. He knows how dirty dems think, and trashing him is not helpful too our fight against the libs, and the libs in the media.

It should be seen along the disgusting lines
of a frat initiation prank, but oh no, the media are
all too happy to use this to try to get Rummy fired
and to portray the military they loathe in one ugly light.
Wasn't this whole thang done by a "dirty dozen" out
of how many troops... 350,000?

Reading thru this thread (cumbersome task) I am
amazed at the number of "doom and gloom" posts, altho, the majority are by posters known to not like POTUS... because he's not "conservative" enough for them. Heck, I'd like to nuke the Islmaic countries, but I stand firmly behind President Bush, KNOWING he is privy to info we do not have, and that he is trying to win this war on terrorism, which is really WWIII.

I was speaking generally.

But if we're going to get down to specifics, what did Rush "lie" about?

I'm still in the middle of listening to him (on tape-delay).

The press has been trying for a month to get GWB to utter the A-word.

He finally did.

Trouble is, in the muslim world, that makes GWB (and the US) appear weak(er).

I bet it comes back to a Democrat in the Senate, though.

&&&&

Dim Senators are whining that they were not informed, and learned of the photos the same we we did. I think the provider of the entire 53-page report {which included the photographs} done in the Pentagon to 60 minutes2 and NBC was a Clinton-lover working in the Pentagon. - another person reprising the Pentagon Papers of the Vietnam War, living in a time warp
