He should send a couple of nukes instead. Ya know, no matter how many times that simplistic knee-jerk mantra is repeated, it still always comes across as completely moronic.

I was listening to FOX and thought I heard a sound bite from Joe Biden in the Senate. I think he said that there would have been less flak over all this if the prisoners had been shot.
To: Rebelbase
Absolutely. I'll met you at Fayetteville and we'll visit this little woman who called all these problems.......LOL.

Why the hell is he apologizing to Jordan's King Abdullah? Or was King Abdullah forced to strip down too?

And Rush insisted that Hillary wouldn't run, that the GOP would gain in 1998, and that Bush would win by more than expected in 2000.Are you sure that was Rush? It sounds sooooo Dick Morris.

Rush also said that the soliders were just blowing off steam and having some fun. Spoken like a true draft dodger, IMO.

All I want to say is that he did a fantastic job. It was very somber. The stakes are high. He knows it. He will take the right steps. I am confident of that.

I am guessing this to mean that he is sorry it happened not that he is sorry as a responsible person. In the same way I am sorry if my wife has a bad day at work. I am sorry it happened not feeling responsible.
By the way I am sorry for getting caught up in semantics.

Bush Apologizes for Iraqi Prison Abuse
Thu May 6, 2004 02:16 PM ET
WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Bush told Jordan's King Abdullah on Thursday he was sorry for the humiliation suffered by Iraqi prisoners who have been abused by their American jailers.
"I told him I was sorry for the humiliation suffered by the Iraqi prisoners and the humiliation suffered by their families," the Republican president said during a Rose Garden appearance with Abdullah.

The only thing I said about you yesterday is that you don't like anybody except white people.
What are YOU talking about?

What a bunch of cut and runners you people are! Absolutely Howlin. Just because President Bush does not agree with certain people on all issues, these silly geese desert him.
Lets call these people what Thomas Paine call them 225 years ago Sunshine patriots and Summer Soldiers!

This is exactly right. I heard the sound bite. He did
not apologize for the actions, only for their consequences.
"I'm sorry for the humiliation that they feel... I'm sorry that people will get the wrong impression of the United States..."
This would be like shooting someone and saying, "I'm sorry that the bullet wound is painful."
It will indeed be interesting to see how both sides spin this one...

The war will be lost or won in America. I hope you are up for it.
The whole world (and America) depends on it.

This story has
so jumped the shark. I dont think Dubya needed to apologize to a cat like Abdullah, but it just proves how much class our CinC has.
Way to go, W
now lets get back to winning this war!
