With all the publicity given to the "abuse" of Iraqi prisoners, I thought this article puts into perspective what constitutes abuse in Moslem countries.

As a woman, I thank you. What I find unforgiveable is the outcry by the islamic world over the alleged torture of Iraqi prisoners because they're men, and no outcry over the inhuman treatment of women perpetrated by islamics.

"Not only is this practice completely medically unnecessary, barbaric, and unethical, it carries significant health risks." So is male circumsisions.

American circumsize their baby boys in great numbers, which should be considered barbaric. Having said so, please do not take me wrong. Most Moslems traditions are also barbaric, including the burka.......

It is disturbing that many Catholics have adopted a philosophical preference for Islam over Judaism.

I'd be curious to know the source of this information.

They are too busy because the evil Christians want to keep them from murdering their unborn babies.

It is disturbing that many Catholics have adopted a philosophical preference for Islam over Judaism. Furthermore, in some instances, some prominent Catholics have even made the unfortunate suggestion that there is much commonality between the true Faith and the religion of Islam.

No footnotes and no quotes. Many Catholics? I don't think so.

Islamic clerics and rulers, unsatisfied with a mere penalty of death for the accused, wish to ensure that these women will suffer eternity in hell as well. However, quite a number of the accused girls are virgins, and Islam teaches that virgins go to Paradise upon their deaths. As a solution this problem, in order to ensure the damnation of the accused, Islamic authorities will often order the prison guards to systematically rape female prisoners before they are killed.

Now that's thinking! Applying logic on the basis of demented premises yields... justice?

Devils truly walk the Earth.
Powerful elements within our society; the media, the academic community, and various activist groups; spare no effort to excuse and incite them in their barbarism.
These elements are fully complicit, and they too must be brought to justice.
We have been at war with these savages for three years now, but the real war has not even begun.
It will begin when the civilized world recognizes the real enemy, the enemy within.

My wife gave me the article to read. Said she thought she was going to be physically ill. She said death would be preferable to "living" in such a society.

So is male circumcisions

With the birth of my child approaching I am forced to decide (If I have a boy) on whether or not to have him circumcised. This is an act performed at birth and I certainly do not have any recollection of it at all. To compare this to the female circumcision seems off to me. They perform this between age 4-12 and use glass in some cases. Can you compare that to at birth using instruments that were designed for the action and the use of numbing medicines?

I also feel that I will have this done for my son because of the risks of infection and also in some cases....cancer.

Anything anyone would like to add or dispute is appreciated and welcomed.

I think Judge Roy Bean would have planted them, and rightfully so.
