Did the Vast Leftwing Conspiracy precipitate the Iraqi Prisoners Scandal???

The Iraqi Prisoner abuse scandal seems fishy to some of us.
Several threads have noted the peculiarities. For example, in "Family Backs Reservist in Iraq Prison Case" Spc. Lynndie England's brother-in-law James Klinestiver says of Bush, "He doesn't know what these guys are going through," Klinestiver said. Referring to Bush's limited National Guard service during the Vietnam War, he added, "How can you make decisions for our military unless you've served yourself?"
No big deal. I'm sure the family is doing its best to grapple with her actions and place blame anywhere else.
But what if this was a setup?
Michael Moore has apparently claimed to have people in Iraq, perhaps shooting his next content-free docudrama. And even if it isn't a direct connection, or Hillaryesque conspiracy, what if these Abu Ghraib guard morons were acting in a way they thought would hurt Bush directly?
What if they where intentionally trying to sabotage Bush, sabotage the war effort? What if they thought this would get them out of harm's way and make them heroes of the anti-war crowd? They would get DD's and throw them over the WhiteHouse fence with honor.
How many folks on DU, not to mention George Soros, have pledged to give their last cent of fortune to get US out of Iraq, and Bush out of office.
Look, it's obvious from their seething comments where the political leanings of the England family point toward. She wanted to be a "paper pusher" anyway, why not do this harmless prank to save her own hide? Didn't the Islamofascists also launch a rocket attack on this prison not long ago? It's not safe there!!! She perhaps didn't want to die for her country with Bush at the helm. Who knows?
I followed a few links, and so far don't have any proof of my theory, but maybe better freepers than I will have some luck with this. Maybe there are dots connected between the perps and the campaigns?
What I did find, was instructions on Moore's website on How to Infiltrate Bush's Campaign Functions. And links to "Military Families Speak Out" and other anti-war action sites:
- United for Peace & Justice
- Veterans for Peace
- September 11th Families for Peaceful Tomorrows
- Veterans for Common Sense
- Patriots for Peace
- Veterans Against Iraq War
- Traprock Peace Center
- Citizen Soldier
- Vietnam Veterans Against the War
All well and fine. Free speech is great for everybody. "Bring the troops home," and "no oil war," and whatnot. But what if ol' Lynndie thought she was "taking one" for the 'Home' team?
Whether it was planned brilliantly and executed accidentally, or accidentally executed flawlessly, these fools didn't just lob a grenade into a commander's tent, these traitors lobbed a nuke directly at the CIC.

Hope it was worth it to those soldiers who spend a decade or two in the Fort Leavenworth stockade.

"How can you make decisions for our military unless you've served yourself?" Somebody get this guy a clue. This is exactly what the founding fathers didn't want.

Allow me to be frank with you, sam_paine. When it comes down to the Left, I refuse to put anything past them. I truly believe that these treasonous scumbags should be stripped of their American citizenship. Like you, I have no proof of anything. But a different view of this whole ordeal is warranted.

Come now, that's just ridiculous!
One of the basic rules of common sense is never to attribute to malice anything which can be adequately explained by incompetence, greed, or stupidity.

I dont think its out of the realm of possibility at all. The left has proven they will do anything to regaian power.
From the beginning ive wondered what party affiliation these soliders belong to.

The only potential setup i see here is the media and political setup. I keep hearing that there was a press conference about this back in Jan. yet democrats claim they just found out. (and are outraged of course)

Rummy knew that the photos existed and that CBS had them, yet did not tell Bush....who did not learn of the extent of the problem until CBS published the photos.
Call it a vast left-wing conspiracy if you want to, but it was a breakdown in the lines of communication which have led to this PR nightmare.

Ya think? I'd wager that this woman does no time. The left and Johnny Cochran to the rescue.

I know I have thought about this, and I read about 7+ people here asking the same kind if questions.
Some things just don't seem to be adding up.
So if you anyone calls you "Spooky Molder" just remember you are not alone.

I'm not saying that BushCo couldn't have handled this better, but is there any way he could blunt this attack? The pics were private. Once copies were out, it was a done deal.

I just want to know who released these pictures? We are at war. The pictures did not have to be released to report the story. And why so many. Is someone being paid for the pictures?

I don't know who released the pictures, and AFAIK the government report only had descriptions. If they were digital, we all know they're 1 email away from worlwide broadcast.

Can the 4th estate have too much power? If Soros and SeeBS can make or break the prez, then don't they own the office?

Yep, Moore and company peered into the crystal ball, saw the future and planned for it by convincing that poor little trailer park girl to join the service (how many years ago?) and get herself assigned to guard Iraqi prisoners. Then they did the same with how many others? Then they gave them cameras and told them; do your thing, don't worry about the consequences...Oh, yeah, then they got the pentagon to start how many investigations?
How about a little maturity in facing facts on the ground. A very small number of our troops messed up big time. Deal with it, deal with them, don't look to avoid the hit...in other words, be a big boy.
