[history]
May 6 (Bloomberg) -- The number of Americans filing initial claims for jobless benefits dropped to 315,000 last week, the fewest since October 2000, a government report showed.
Initial applications fell by 25,000 in the week that ended Saturday from 340,000, the Labor Department said in Washington. The number of people continuing to collect state jobless benefits declined to 2.935 million in the week that ended April 24, the lowest since June 2001. The statistics are reported with a one- week lag to initial claims.

Kind of funny. The Democrats thought Bush was vulnerable on the economy and untouchable on security. It's kind of going the other way right now.

Pretty soon we should expect a media imposed blackout on the Dow and any other subjects having to do with the economy.

BTW, your name reminded me of where we find cars mentioned in the Bible.
In Genesis, God drove Adam and Eve out of the Garden of Eden in a Fury...
In Acts, it states that the apostles were all in one Accord...

Kerry will simply ignore the stats, ignore the outsourcing by Heinz and promise everyone a job, a home, free childcare, free medical care, free prescriptions, and a pizza every Friday.

No doubt the claims are so low because the unemployed have taken time off from looking for work to buy new homes, cars, and retail goods.

Have to admit I'm laughing at that one. Isn't there also something about the Lord appearing in a Triumph? I'm thumbing through the concordance to see if I can find any references to Lamborghini.

You are loosing focus on the main issue here. The United States is torturing prisoners and we MUST get to the bottom of it ASAP.
Where are the heat lamps for the Rumsfeld inquisition...er I mean meeting.

I'm not even exaggerating one bit when I say the DUmmies are claiming that this could only happen because there are no people left to fire!
Hahaha

Bush had 200,000 new jobs hidden in a cave along with Osauma. He only let them loose because it's an election year.
