NEW YORK — Developers of the Freedom Tower (search) will break ground on the 1,776-foot skyscraper at the World Trade Center site on July 4, The Associated Press learned Wednesday.

"On July 4, as we commemorate the founding of our nation, we lay the foundation for our resurgence," Gov. George E. Pataki said in prepared remarks obtained by The Associated Press. "On July 4, as fireworks burst in the sky, ephemeral reminders of our liberty, we will begin to reclaim our skyline with a permanent symbol of our freedom."

Are you unaware that you sound like a chimp or do you just not care?

Build that great big tower in the sky! Big, big, big, tall, tall, tall. Who cares about the cost in resources and life, you need to feel big, right?

How's the view from 1350 miles away, son? I thought so!

Why don't you go take a swim in the Hudson with a large rock tied around your nek.

Big! Important! Tallest in the world! At any cost! That's the ticket!

That kind of rambling belongs in a padded room.

You will feel very good when you see the worlds tallest building at the site of a great mass murder stabbing into the sky. Tall, powerful, potent, important....everything you are....

And you'll be deeply saddened that we didn't bend over and grab our ankles.

I never said we should.

I said we should play this smart and not let immature posturing get in the way of making smart decisions.

I think we're a bit passed that. Your attitude betrays your true feelings.

We aren't passed that since you can't accept what I said and prefer to hang on to what you think I said. It's self serving and immature. But then again, it's in line with my expectations.

Build the towers back higher. I prefer the extended middle finger design.

Believe it or not, 5 straight posts of "Erect.....big....long.."
kind of invalidates any attempt on your part to frame what's happened. When you go that far in demonstrating your lack of ability to form a rational argument, you've simply lost any pretense of the required credibility for your version of the debate to have any merit whatsoever.

Get with the program, Einstein. It;s you who can't accept what I wrote and prefers to contort it.

Trust me on this one - the Freedom Tower construction will be a disaster. It can't be secured for reasons I articulated (but which you can not cope with). People will die building that atrocity.

I care. You don't. That's the difference between us, one that you either can not or will not accept.

Oh, and I said you were 'done' several posts ago. Now you are 'overdone.' Adios, Louisiana Boy.

Trust you? WHY? You've made a complete joke of yourself. Why should I trust someone who can't even comprehend what I write well enough to generate a relevant response?

Cause I spent more time in NYC than you ever will (or never will for that matter). I have street smarts, book smarts, and I'm a lot of fun at parties, so they tell me.

You are in denial, and can not (or will not) discuss the matter at hand - people will die from terrorist attacks at the ambitious (and foolish) construction of 'Freedom Tower.'

Take that to the bank, son.

That hideous monstrosity should be built, then towed out to sea and scuttled in the Laurentian Abyss.

"Cause I spent more time in NYC than you ever will (or never will for that matter)."

Yes, you're quite proud of living in new york shitty. But your pride in being a new yorker is no substitute for an argument, and does not qualify you as any sort of expert in terrorism and nation defense. It just makes you an obnoxious twit.

"I have street smarts, book smarts"

You're an imbecile. I've seen it first hand. Of course, it would be consistent with your lack of intelligence to think that somehow stating that you're smart makes it so.

You can't attack the merits of what I said initially - you are in total denial over it. That may pass for rational thought in your corner of Louisiana, but that would be about it.

"You can't attack the merits of what I said initially"

Can and did. You just continue to ignore it.

Also, if you weren't so stupid, you'd see the irony in attacking what is considered rational thought in Louisiana when you come from the city that elected Hillary Clinton to the senate. But considering how miserably you failed to grasp irony last time, I'm not holding my breath.
