I think your suspicion is spot on. I think it is a continuation of the propaganda mill that the Hate-America-Firsters generated before WWII and perfected during VietNam. We are dealing with principalities and powers here, and for that reason, many FReepers consider prayer to be one of the essentials in this War on Terror....for it is indeed one of the fronts on the war. Each prayer is like a bullet going to the heart of an enemy or an inimical idea.
For those who may wish to join other FReepers in supporting our troops spiritually, please check out the troop prayer threads:

Step forward now, you soldier,
You've borne your burdens well.
Walk peacefully on Heaven's streets;
You've done your time in Hell.

The suits in Washington have not. What did they do wrong?? I'm all for people apologizing where they directly wronged someone but not for others. We all had to sit through a recent press conference where the media demanded an apology from President Bush for any number of trumped up charges. Besides what next down this line? Are you ready to apologize for slavery?

I read the first letter. It has the ring of truth.
Thanks for posting.

Thank you for this article and for your ongoing effort to present the positive news coming from Iraq ... and there is so very much of it to report, if only Old Media weren't so interested in showing only the bad news and promoting their agenda.

I think, but can't prove, that an extremely sophisticated psi-ops is being conducted against the US in general and the US Army in particular. I wish you were right, but that PFC looks like she's having a real good time in every photo I've seen. Completely clueless example of trash culture.

I agree with you. The President has denounced the actions, the people involved are and will be punished, and this new found need for apologizes for everything is just a bit disconcerting to say the least. There is more going on here than meets the eye IMHO, and I do not trust the mainstream media or the Iraqi's to tell us the truth.

What infuriates me more than the mistakes and 'criminal behavior' of those at the prison is the way the dnc lieberal lapdog media and the democrat politicians are using this to try and undermine the war and thus our Soldiers in theater, and thus undermine the administration. The democrats are treading treasonous lines, and they are certainly behaving treacherously to our Soldiers in harm's way.
Tonight, on the floor of the House, Massatwosh!ts congressman Delahunt played indignant that a soldier under investigation for the 'abuse' was still in Iraq! Well, you pompous ass, so are more than one humdred thousand other Soldiers, doing our war effort and trying to keep your sleazy politicial butt from being blown off the next time you travel of go into a large building. Your hate-filled mouth is making their life and job more dangerous with every slaezy comment to spew. [Sick little lieberal puke is a favorite on the House Judiciary Committee!]
The democrats and their media lapdogs are behaving more despicably than the soldiers accused of the abuse ... think about that!

Folks its really not the photos or the GI Pranks, its the FxxKing Liberal Media trying to brutally crush and defeat our efforts in Iraq.
Hazing is not torture, but it was incredible the stupidity of what was done by a few bored prison guards.

I tried to watch some of Aaron Brown this evening, but his grin wouldn't abate as he 'interview' one after another of dnc operatives on this abuse scandal.
