Just in case you all forgot while busy Apologizing for the "Abhorrent acts" of the troops. I'm also wondering, waiting - when will the Iraqi's apologize to me for our troops who were killed/tortured in Iraq-I to free Kuwait? When will they apologize for those abhorrent acts? Haven't heard it, yet.

I strongly suggest everyone buy this ^ DVD and watch it every so often. This is an awesome, moving account of the horror of 9-11. It tears me up every time I watch it.

May we NEVER FORGET!

It was a very good "as it happened" documentary.
Also notable for the closing segement as the lost firemen and policemen
are shown.
IIRC, they were in groups of four and "Danny Boy" was song to accompany.
All I know is that I was a blubbering mess after that and muttered to myself
"who ever constructed that one must have bought stock in Kleenex!".
I also spotted freeperdom's own "BCM" (Battalion Commander Moran) in the photo review.

"The problem is that those that took out the WTC were Saudis not Iraqis. Yet so many
Americans now blame the WTC on the Iraqis."

Probably true of 9-11.
But Iraqi involvement in the 1993 attack...more of a question mark.
I've seen reports that said Mr. Yassin was living in Baghdad with a nice allowance
from Saddam, visiting his dying mother at his liesure.
But I've also seen reports that he was being held in detention by Saddam.
My fallible feeling goes more with the former view.

http://www.independent-media.tv/itemprint.cfm?fmedia_id=3581&fcategory_desc=Under%20Reported

"Mr. Hage said Mr. Habbush began to vent his frustration over what the Americans
really wanted. He said that to demonstrate the Iraqis' willingness to cooperate
in America's effort against terrorism, Mr. Habbush offered to hand over Yasser Abdul Yassin,
who has been indicted in United States in connection with the 1993 World Trade Center
bombing. Mr. Yassin fled to Iraq after the bombing, and the United States has put up a
$25 million reward for his capture. "

The President warned the world: If you hide the enemy, you ARE the enemy.

While that's a lovely turn of a phrase it doesn't address the fact that Saudis, financed by other Saudis, took out the WTC.

Yet we call them our allies and remain friends with the House of Saud, as corrupt and evil a regime as any on the planet. Fu*k Saddam and let's go after the the ones that killed 3000 Americans already.

There is no "probably" about it. Saudis financed the operation and carried it out.

"100% Definitely"

Not probably.

Hey, notice where they're not: the south ie Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky, Alabama, Mississippi, West Virginia, Louisiana. (does Florida rate as southern?) Of course NC falls short and you could say Virgina, but then they're all in proximity to D.C.

Of course the West generally does well also except for the coast and ...

so, where are they? All in the big cities where the liberals breed. They're comfortable in blue territory, but fear the red. Misery loves company.

You know the cities are what the muslims despise because that's what they know of us. That's where the most debauchery dwells. It's were man is most full of himself and shows the worst behavior.

We owe no jihadist an apology for US actions against them. They deserve a fiery retribution, and yes, get those who celebrated too!

The media does not want us to see these photos for fear we will become angry and perhaps like our President's policy against the animals who caused this.

Where is OUR apology from the insane Islamics who did this to us?????? Apologies are worthless in the first place! Action is the only language they understand.

"Enemies of Freedom" (the phony liberal news) - very good. But, since 1990, I've been calling them "The Enemies of Democracy". And, I called the Democratic Party in 1992 the same. In fact, I even printed a bumper sticker, in 1992, it read "The DEMOCRATIC PARTY is The ENEMY OF DEMOCRACY". I had many websites at that time, into 1992 and later, with images of Clinton, Half-Bright, et all, "E.O.D." (Enemy of Democracy).

"Apologies are worthless in the first place" (LadyinRed) - you are exactly right, my Lady in Red. By the way, when I read "Lady in Red", I think of the sporty but formal Red dress that the First Lady Bush use to wear, upon which I started calling her "Lady in Red" - by any chance, does your name refer to Mrs. Bush?

At this point, I almost feel sympathetic to the soldier girl with the cig in her mouth. I am beginning to feel, that maybe she saw things, heard things, from these Iraqi prisoners, and knew things about what these prisoners did, that made it too easy for her to give 'em the broom handle if you know what I mean. I actually am starting to worry for this girl, and hope it all turns out ok for her.

Who knows - she may become a celeb in the end.

She's a "babe" ... hope she doesn't turn out to be a lesbian.

We only had the phony Chronicle, and such, and of course the cable networks ... I never saw these pictures on cable, and certainly not in the Chronicle, but even if it were in that newspaper I wouldn't know since I NEVER read it. My news comes from Talk Radio, and cable news such as FOX, MSNBC, CNN, etc.. I never even bother to watch the "local (T.V.) news" much, didn't see it on the local news. I travel a lot, in fact I was on vacation the day of 9-11, my wife, daughter, and myself, we were going to go to New York City for our vacation. I was telling my wife, I'm going to take her to the Twin Towers - what a view, I told her. Then I'm outside, doing gardening. And my neighbor across the street comes out - screaming. Turn on the TV, she's yelling, very very upset.

And I did turn on the T.V..

My wife, days later, gets the phone call - one of her relatives was murdered that day, in that building, by those bastards.

I don't know. I just don't know how America will survive when we live in a PC era where we can't even speak the truth without being labeled "racist, bigoted, nazi" and all that liberal $h!t. The best thing to do now is to reelect George W. Bush. He is now our only hope for America's salvation.

Brian,

One of the reason why the world is making such a big deal about the prisoner abuse isn't just because of the act of torture, but the fact that America used "Iraqi Liberation" as one of the main justifications for invading Iraq. This set a high expectation of civilian treatment in Iraq.

It looks a lot more worse when a so-called "civilized" and "liberating" force gets caught red handed treating prisoners animals. When the Iraqis did it, it's wasn't as bad because the West sees Muslims and Arabs as uncivilized and barbaric. Besides, the Iraqis imprisoned offending American military forces while the US has imprisoned thousands of Iraqi civilians, many of whom the US has realized are innocent.

Besides, America is constantly trying to sell the world it's slogan that we're a peaceful and civilized nation. But now the world sees America as hypocritics and untruthful. We cannot truely "liberate" a country and act like this. We cannot act so high and mighty - "liberating" the planet on OUR terms at gun point. That's imperialism undercover. Survival of the fittest you could also call it, but now Americans like to call it "liberating" or "spreading democracy". It's laughable, the amount of ignorance and clueless that exists. Have Americans forgot the history of the world? What we're doing isn't out of the kindness of our heart, rather out of domination, fear, greed - in the name of the state. True, some soldiers may be over there with the intent to help Iraqis, but the fact is, they're not the ones calling the shots. They're tools, and they follow whatever orders given. It's up to the people in command that determines the fate of the Iraqis.

Anyway, call it toppling Saddam, ending a regime, liberating the Iraqis from the Bath party - but don't call it real liberation until you step foot over there. You are not liberated when you face being killed by Americans and radical Muslims everyday.

- Anthony
