Excellent. This is the kind of stuff we want to debate, and this will backfire bigtime on Kerry. He's forcing himself to one side of the issue, instead of trying to surf the middle. Just more extreme, more anti-war positions, making the difference all the more clearer for the American public.

Whip up the fervor where the press can't just rely on their usual smears and innuendo, rising to the level where Rumsfeld responds and the public wants to hear his response.

Please, oh please Lord, let Kerry and the Dems demand that Rumsfeld testifies to Congress, with live network TV coverage...

the rank of Captain in 1989 Which is the same rank as Major in the other branches of service (if I remember the Naval chain of command correctly). A tick or two under Admiral.
