Sounds like Disney has remembered which side their bread is buttered on, to me.

Fat, stupid, and without distribution is no way to go thru life Mr.Moore..........But hey, I'm sure NYU film school's star graduate from Flint would know more about business to let a little thing like no distribution rain on his parade.
I mean it's not all that desparate. It's not like he went to Yale and got a "C" average. As brilliant as Moore is I'm sure he'll land on his feet. Bubbering and pointing fingers as his feet splinter under his gluttonous frame, but still upright.

Go ahead and distribute it, I wanna see it fail miserably. There are probably enough W-haters out there to pay off the production costs.
I am going to go see this documentary instead.

Maybe Disney is starting to figure out a pattern as to why their profit margin is sinking lower than a gopher's basement. A middle-of-the-road cable TV outlet (Comcast) is looking seriously at buying them out, so it's not like they're the corporate power house that they once were. The last thing Disney needs is a violation-of-election-law scandal. The shareholders are already pissed.

Fine American traditions like Yodells, Ding Dongs, Snowballs, Twinkies, and Drakes Cakes are too fine to pass by Moore's gullet.

Fine American traditions like Yodells, Ding Dongs, Snowballs, Twinkies, and Drakes Cakes are too fine to pass by Moore's gullet...in quantities smaller than five.

Disney caters to families of all political stripes and believes Mr. Moore's film to be overtly partisan against Mr. Bush. Ya THINK?

Well Freepers, there you go again, believing the media at face value. Cant anyone smell a setup when it is right in front of your face? How better to gain visibility and attention for Moore's film, than to announce that it wont be shown? Now the Media and Liberals can get up in arms, insuring that the film gets so much attention that Disney will be forced to release it. WHICH IS EXACTLY THE PLAN. And you played right along.
All this does is force this stupid film to center stage. Disney has no intention of spiking this film, and Freepers will show hypocrisy if they felt good about that anyway. We have nothing to fear from Moore and his stupid film. WE SHOULD DEMAND THAT IT BE SHOWN FOR THE PARTISON TRIPE THAT IT IS.

I thought the same thing...we will find out if it is true ....my guess is the film goes to another distributor and they give Disney a big cut
