[history]
May 4, 2004 -- The publisher of Bill Clinton's forthcoming memoir is "despairing" that the ex-president hasn't churned out enough pages - and that the book is too full of self-justification and blaming of others, a new report claims. Clinton has procrastinated writing "My Life" - for which Random House's Alfred A. Knopf imprint paid a reported $12 million - to such an extent that only within recent weeks did he begin jotting down memories of 1998, when he faced impeachment over of his affair with Monica Lewinsky, Vanity Fair says in its new issue.

It doesn't matter if it is 500 pages of blank paper. It will be a NYT best seller for months.

Yes, that's scary, but what's scarier is that half the country actually believes everything he says.

"Not to mention the terror of using a sink in that place."
Now there's a happy image, just before breakfast.
[Maybe I'll have gotten it out of my head by lunchtime]...:))

"I'll bet that manuscript IS finished and is either at the publishers or in Clintons office."
I bet it is also. And I bet it is chock full of shallow, self justifying, rationalizing bushwah!
It will probably go down in history as the world's most uninteresting book shelf filler.

The entire liberal left is based on "self-justification and blaming of others" with a huge dose of the politics of victimhood.

Said the editor, "We felt the book a bit too long so we began to edit down....we started by removing all the "I" and "me" words...the 400 page book is now down to a manageable 23 pages."

Klinton's pathology: The world only exists when he is at a particular spot in time. When he leaves a room, everything comes to a screeching halt, and things suddenly start moving in what ever room he has just entered. Kind of like a Twilight Zone episode. In his mind, he is the only thing that is real, and everything and everyone else is either a robot or hologram.

I wonder if there's an easier explanation for the book's release date. Consider, if you will, you're Kerry, and you're trying to decide how much prime time the Clinton's will get at the DNC..Hillary? and Bill? both speaking..it would make the VP and then Kerry's acceptance speeches at best, anti-climatic..at worst, invidious comparisons in allthe media..you can write the headlines..so, maybe, Kerry dropped a few hints that Bill shouldn't speak tot he convention...remember 2000?...the guy can't be trusted to restrain himself..so Bubba said to hisself.."I'll fix you, guy.."

No wonder Michael Jackson thinks that there is nothing wrong with his behavior. If the same thing had been written about MJ, they would be adding more charges to his indictment!

..."is hard, man . . . I am literally hardly sleeping. I am working around-the-clock . . . I am killing myself . . . because I want it done."If this moronic, hillbilly-marxist piece of Ozark trailer trash works as hard on this multi-million dollar project as he did while defacing the presidency of the United States, I'm certain there will be a happy ending!
A soviet star-crossed pair of lovers whose books will grace many socialist bookshelves. The bound collection of lies and spins will probably never be read, but they will be purchased nevertheless.
These two jackals have made so much money they have to be beside themselves and laughing their raggedy arses off at the stupidity of the American voting public.

"Distance does not make the heart grow fonder," Clinton has told friends, according to the article. Well if your wife is Hillary, then its true. Its probably the first time I can agree that BillyJeff has told the truth.

Hey Ken......invite him over for dinner some night..
The former president is described as desperate for companionship: hitting a local bar to drink near-beer with a blue-collar crowd, dropping by an elementary school to watch a play, and inviting two middle-school students to his home, where he talked "about the impact of technology on everyday life."
ROFL!

Yah, that is very long, but that does NOT square with the $35 range---if it is 3,000 text pages in typeset, we're talking $60.

Clinton? A vengeful SOB wanting to wreak havoc on the Dims? Maybe clobber the prez candidate just for spite? Is that what you're saying?
