Has Kerry worked an honest days labor in his life, or has he sucked at the government teat his whole life like Bubba. Yeah, I know, Bubba held a job down for a couple of years.
________________
Bubba taught law at U of Arkansas for a year at most. I do believe that's a gubbermint (state) university. I'm hard put to remember him working in the dreaded private sector. Dittos for John Kerry. Both are creatures of gubermint with socialist mentalities that gubbermint can solve all problems and never make them worse.

If the destructive device is nonfunctional and registered as a DEWAT (deactivated war trophy), federal paperwork still must be filed ... which if it exists should be available via Freedom of Information Act??? The ATF Form 6 would be available from ATFE - that is for the importation of any weapon or destructive device. As for the "Tax Stamp" for possessing such weapons, I hope that is considered not releasable. ATFE is required to keep those records (forever), but its release would jeopardized the privacy of personal information for all lawful owners of all NFA weapons. (NFA encompassing machine-guns, short barreled shotguns/carbines, destructive devices, etc.) The bottom line is, if someone possesses a destructive device, they must have the federal paperwork immediately available for presentation to law enforcement officers.
Search google for various combinations of: DEWAT, ATF, register, and destructive device

..claim the enemy soldier had been lightly hit by .50 caliber fire.. Tom Belodeau, one of Kerry's gunners who had fired at the enemy soldier and knocked him down with a .50 caliber round.
They must have been firing those cartoon boxing glove rounds that hit lightly and then knock you down.
Good thing sKerry was there to deliver the coup de grace.

It's weird to think---just as in the late sixties there were someone's unseen hands grooming and positioning Clinton and Kerry for a political future---there are some young men somewhere now being groomed and positioned for events 30 years hence..? Were there hundreds or thousands who were sent to Oxford and Moscow (Clinton) or handed out medals in photo-op Nam tours (Kerry), hoping that a couple would rise to the top 30 years later, or is it JUST the likes of Clinton and Kerry? Are the William Fulbright's and the Ted Kennedy's grooming some 20 year old in Iraq today?
Footnote: Both Clinton AND Kerry met John F. Kennedy while they were teenagers. What are the odds of that...

in the late sixties there were someone's unseen hands grooming and positioning Clinton and Kerry for a political futureThe sons and daughters of the elite, politically connected are ALWAYS groomed and receive the choice opportunites that the working class, read: middle America, never even hear of.
That is why when a politician, like John Edwards, says there are two Americas, one for the rich and one for everyone else, he knows of what he speaks.
Those connected few get the glory, but we get the honor.

I wouldn't put him past it either. Find a little chunk of matal frag on the boat, put it in your pocket for a later time. After a "combat patrol," gauge yourself with it, and wrap a field dressing around it to keep it in place, then go to sick bay asap for your "medical treatment" documentation and you Purple Heart.
I wouldn't put it past him, at least for the first PH.

Very little is ALWAYS anything......I suppose I can relate to your frustration. But much of what you have stated is pure DemoLibSocialistMarxistLiar's rhetoric talking points. And guy's like Edward's U$E that perception to pump people...and create that mindset.
There are thousands and thousands of examples of everyday people becoming very wealthy, famous, and powerful in this country. Surely you don't need me to give you a list.

There are a LOT of people out there who have no business wearing anything made out of Lycra. John Kerry is one of them!

I guess you missed my point, or perhaps I could have stated it better.
What I was alluding to, is that the well connected, politically get those connections very early in life. My point is that those of us in middle America who don't get the glory, we still have the honor of serving our nation and communities with pride and dignity.
No, I wasn't trying to perpetuate the class warfare socialist rhetoric. Wish I could expound more, but I am busy at work and trying to plan the Kerry FReep tomorrow!

"He wants it both ways. When he discovered that throwing away your medals was politically a negative, he came up with the story about his ribbons and someone else's medals. Kerry realized that he couldn't walk away from the story entirely, especially since he has the medals displayed prominently in his office. However, the fly in the ointment is that we now have the citations, released by him, signed by Lehman. If he indeed requested replacement medals, he has a real problem, i.e., he was telling the truth initially, lied in the 80s, and is lying now."
Ever since the matter of Lehman's signature was first mentioned on Free Republic, I have wondered about it. I think you have described the most likely scenario. He threw his medals away. And so he lied and then lied again. This is definitely his M.O.

I have been in contact with some members of the media. They responded that they are pursuing the story. If it comes out that Kerry did indeed request replacement medals, he is finished. Even the leftist media won't give him a pass.
