These protesters sicken me to no end...The moral corruption of our culture is beyond belief.Have you heard about the priest at the latest abortion march in Washington? Just standing on a corner, blessing and praying for the marchers as they went by. He was responded to with swearing, spitting, physical intimidation, very personal insults, and imitated sex acts. The M.O.'s seem to be very similar across the abortion/gays crowds. We are truly dealing with possessed people here.

There has already been many good posts on this subject so I'll try to only present fresh material.
First I took almost half an hour calculating how many people were at the Mayday for Marriage rally at Safeco field in Seattle.
Each section on the first level on average is 16 seats wide by 40 deep. At ground level there were about 30 full sections. I did not count the food concourse, the second level or the third level or the left and right field entrances. All these areas had people in them. I came up with almost 25000 just on the ground level alone.
I read they only counted people who came through turnstiles but they also had a few wide gates open and those people were not counted. The total was most likely in the 30k range. My wife and I passed maybe 500 protesters at the entrance at 11AM. There may have been more than that as during Dr. Dobsons speech they (the heterophobes) had some pretty impressive war-drums going. It was hard to hear the speakers.
Also we were about 15 seats away from the gay infiltrators along the third base line. There was at no point more than a hundred of them. One guy(?) looked like a Mardigras reveler on crack. One young woman had on a wedding veil as a mock paster wedded her to her girlfriend in front of all of us. Another guy enjoyed flipping his rainbow colored penis pillow into the air where all could see it. I am very glad my wife an I decided not to bring our children.
The police did not remove them because the rally leadership/speakers indicated that since we are loving-tolerant Christians that it was OK for them to stay. They did finally give up when the singing started(it was also hot out)
I could hear them disrupting up in the food concourse several times and they were also going gangbusters with their drums out on the street.
I hope that we as Christians don't spend too much time trying to convert these people. They know what they are doing is wrong. They don't care! We have informed them of the good news of Christ and they can either accept or reject the message. From now on though their actions are a declaration of war on our culture and we have a right and a DUTY to shut these perverts down NOW! PERIOD!
We outnumbered them 30 to 1. Shut up and get back in the closet.
Like all other major struggles in the history of the US this will progress beyond words to violence. It is starting now in Canada. It has been made 'hate-speech' to preach on certain parts of the bible. They announced this at the rally. You can go to jail for telling gays they are sinning.
The day will come when a goon with a gun and a warrant will knock on my door to take my kids away because I said something wrong.
On that day the full aspects of the 2nd Amendment will come into play on my front porch.
We better stand together now under the 1st...

I really appreciate your report. My perspective was no different, and I have video to prove how rude and somewhat lewd these protesters were. I posted a report on FR WA locale and here is a copy:
An estimated 20,000 to 25,000 were in attendance, according to a KING5 TV NEWS report. I'd say the Mayday for Marriage was a success. Even the hecklers (heteral-phobics in denial) were welcome inside. I estimate between 100-200 protesters inside and when they left they combined with another 200+ oustide the stadium to create a wall of harrassment for those exiting. Early on, once inside the "safe" they marched and chanted. Some sat in one section and the other "fruitcakes" marched up and down the main corridor while they chanted loudly. They tried to shout over the speaker inside and they also had a marching band outside to create more noise. The squeaky wheel concept was alive and well, in this case the 3% U.S. population, who are sexually dis-orented, will forcefully decide for the rest of us how we shall be governed. I thought to myself, "Don't push your immorality on me". They were very cocky and lacked any good reason to be. This time, I think they pushed too far and our "backs are against the wall"...we have to fight back, legally speaking. They are the terrorists and we are victims in wait...unless we ban together both in prayer and action.
We obviously need more activism where it counts. Perhaps apply pressure on the "black-robed" activists, mayors and other supporting officials who pander to the gay agenda.
The rally was a very positive one, it was not about "gay bashing", rather it was a first step to protect marriage from a gay mockery. Especially given the fact that the gays use corrupt means to achieve their goals. The reality is, they started this decades ago with indoctrination in school and that has swayed enough people to sympathize their cause for civil rights.
There was a black preacher, who even sounded a bit like MLK, who brought the original civil rights issue in perspective to differentiate between gays and blacks. All the speakers spoke wise words, and they didn't mince words...PC did not enter in.

No surprise the media over estimated the numbers of the gay-rights / homosexual protesters. Some reports said there was 2500 - 3000. We came through the screeming homosexual guantlet at about 11:55 am. I'd say it was no more than a thousand.
Agree with you on having to take action NOW. I was thinking today about what my grandfathers and great grandfathers would have done if the homomsexuals acted like they did yesterday in the presence of their wives and children. It wouldn't have been pretty!! We've got to think about how the destructive behavior of the homosexuals is damaging the present and future decency of our culture.
To: Jeremiahs Call
I just hope you don't have some judges who think they know better than everyone else, and decide to put it in place by judicial fiat.
This is especially a danger when you have a bunch of WEENIES in your State legislature who pi$$ away opportunites provided for them by their constituents to put Constitutional Amendments in place!
This is what happened in MA, and beginning in a couple of weeks, homosexual 'marriage' will be 'legal' and there's not a damn thing the citizens of MA can do about it! Oh, the legislators passes some tepid Constitutional amendment provision that said no marriage, but allowed for civil unions (which provide all the bennies of marriage without the name) and we citizens, who didn't ask for what the legislature passed MIGHT be 'allowed' to vote on that in 2006.
Most Town Clerks in the state are even saying they're not going to check whether or not the folks applying for marriage licenses are even residents of MA. So there will be thousands of homosexuals traveling to MA for the express purpose of 'getting married' then going back to their own states to try to force it on the citizens there.

The police did not remove them because the rally leadership/speakers indicated that since we are loving-tolerant Christians that it was OK for them to stay. Argh.
I was all set to comment on the first post, saying that I hoped that the organization did not pay in advance for the services they received from the stadium, because the lapse in "security" was an outrage.
Then I read what you said above, and I groaned.
I hope that we as Christians don't spend too much time trying to convert these people. They know what they are doing is wrong. They don't care! Bingo.
There's a time to turn the other cheek, and there's a time to keep your pearls in your pocket.
And being "harmless as a dove" does not mean being wise as a dove!
Argh...

PS: I'm wondering if perhaps it was a "tactical decision" to allow the vile disruptors to stay, for the benefit of any practitioners of "hardcore churchianity" that might be in attendance?
I'm talking about the sort that attends church several times a week, goes to home prayer meetings the rest of the week, and lives in a fog of la la happytime religiosity, totally oblivious to the lions at the gate.
I guess I can see the possiblity that someone may have made the decision to allow those lunatics to stay, so that the "eternal baby Christians" could see up close and personal exactly what it is that's squaring off against them.

The ugly behavior of the pro-homosexuals speaks for itself.
Indeed. And you can expect it to become even uglier:
Homosexual leader vows to 'torture' opponents
"Gay Militia" Storms Christian Dinner in Calgary ( click here for video of the queer protesters )
An excerpt from "Tammy Bruce: Respecting Marriage and Equal Rights:"
"... Gays ultimately need to stop looking to government for unconditional love and approval of who we are. Andrew Sullivan, a political commentator and writer many of you know and respect, wrote a piece for Time magazine where he actually equated governmental recognition of gay marriage as a necessary element to all gay people feeling accepted and wanted. He claimed that anything other than marriage will build a wall between gay people and their own families.
While his story was personal and moving, the argument was, frankly, nonsense, and representative of the general mentality among the gay elite. It also gives the government and other peoples opinions far too much power over the quality of our lives and effectively eliminates our own responsibility for our happiness.
Part of the fight for gay marriage is based in Sullivans lamentthat it is only governmental recognition of who are that will make us whole. Lets get realthe only thing that will make gay people whole is personal acceptance of ourselves by ourselves. Instead, we are still looking to Mommy or Daddy, now in the form of Society, to tell us were okay to sanctify, if you will, our lives and relationships.
Society has been the benevolent parent for a very long time. And it has been amazing, and a testament to the American character, that despite being a people of faith who have legitimate concerns about the gay lifestyle, Americans have made this the best place on Earth for gays and lesbians, where we are free to live incomparably rich lives.
Now, when Americans have said through polls and voting, that they do not want to give up the meaning of marriage but support a comparable alternative, how do the gay elite respond? When you ask for one cultural thing to be left untouched, the Gay Elite become the Gay Gestapo.
Its a very fast change from the polo shirt to the brown shirt these days.
In classic Thought Police fashion and like children throwing a tantrum, the name-calling fliesthose who oppose gay marriage are homophobes, haters and, the label du jour, bigots. Once again, the Left, unable to answer critics with respect, resort to name-calling only to further the divide they need to validate their inevitable victimhood..."

Tammy Bruce is great, even though she's in the life.
Andrew Sullivan isn't voting for Bush, he's left our side (thankfully).

"Amazing how the authorities didn't throw the "gay" protesters out of the stadium as they disrupted the first half of the meeting."
It was explained this morning (on KVI radio by Kirby Wilbur) that the no-cost admission constituted an "open invitation", and that once they're in, they have TONS of latitude in the "expression of their First Amendment rights". No one knows better than these professional disruptors just what those limits are (and how close they can come to the edge).
Cops are stuck in the middle.
Kudos to all who braved the "great unwashed" (I had to work ;'{

As we sang - they begin to retreat from their protest positions near the lower levels of the stadiums. Praising the Lord and singing of His goodness seemed to be more than most of them could take. Maybe if there is ever another rally like this, organizers should consider doing songs first. If it drives away or drowns out protesters, the speakers can then be heard.

I had read about the gay militia storming the Christian dinner at Calgary a few weeks back, so I wasn't as surprised as some of the other rally attendees. I see a pattern in the radical homosexuals behavior and understand the better we know the enemy, the better prepared we will be in the future for such battles.

We all got the same name-calling from the gay protesters, and I like mine best: "baby killer." I say now is the time to act and contact your elected officials to move the Federal Marriage Amendment for a vote. Here is an excellent web site where you can get all the information you need: www.nogaymarriage.com
We also need to get our Pastors acting on this, so I encourage you to talk to your pastor. After all, this isn't a political issue anymore...it's an issue that could very well destroy churches. Look what is happening to Canada as we speak.

This is especially a danger when you have a bunch of WEENIES in your State legislature who pi$$ away opportunites provided for them by their constituents to put Constitutional Amendments in place! There are a lot of liberals in WA, but even here, its not as liberal as you might believe. This state does have a DOM law (Oregon does not, and between the two, I think WA is more liberal), and legalizing gay marriage was NOT on the agenda of the last session of the Legislature. There was debate over putting sexual orientation in the state's anti-discrimination laws, and it failed.
On the other hand, there was a lot of outrage in the Seattle media over the anti-gay-marriage rally, and some people even blamed Safeco insurance company (the Mariners ballfield is named Safeco Field, for you non-sportsfans), cancelling insurance policies. The Mariners' PR people said they would make the field available to the other side of the debate, and my prediction is, if they did so, they'd fill the place. The Mayday for Marriage people did not have a lot of public notice of the meeting, no doubt the attendees were solicited by word of mouth, or through church announcements, so a bigger opposition could not be raised. If the event were publicized on Seattle TV, you might have had a few more attendees, but you would have had a LOT more protesters.

And how many liberals listen to that radio station? For that matter, how many in the mushy middle listen to it? Frankly, I wasn't even aware of KTTH until just a couple of weeks ago, from a FR post that I was pinged on. Of course, part of my lack of awareness is because I haven't had a radio in my truck for two and a half years, and my wife always has country stations on, when we ride in her truck.
I watch local news on at least one of the Seattle stations nearly every evening, and I didn't see anything about the Mayday rally until the day it had taken place. If Safeco Field had a pro-gay-marriage rally, you can bet it would be all over the news, and I'm pretty sure they'd fill the place, if there were a couple of weeks notice. It probably wouldn't happen in Yakima, but in Seattle, you can practically bet on it.
To: EdReform
It look like Canada has throw the bible out. From what I have heard the gays here in the US, are staging themselves to win big in court.
By winning in the lower courts on several points in their argument. So they can bring together the valitity of the lower courts rulings into play, in the higher courts. The higher courts will rule in favor of gay rights and marriage acts. They are going to do here in the US what they did in Canada.
Make the bible illegal. That means the churches will have to fall in line, with a NEW GOSPEL or lose their church status under the IRS codes.
I'm calling for a separation of church and state, where the churches become a separate idenity from the state, with the power to govern themselves with little or no state or federal interference. Unless anyone else has a better ideal, that will work!! I will be posting soon, my ideal for futher disscussion.
