Hmmmm - thousands of good guys, a hundred idiots. What will the photos be of in the paper?

Interesting question, here's the front page of the online edition of the Seattle Times...

http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/home/

You will note the main photo is for a story about a local thrift shop finding a book signed by Ameila Earhart.

Under the local news the stories that made the front page are about the Univ. of Washington, a court ruling on social security and foster children and a "Gay youth invited to first "Pink prom" in a neighboring county.

I have to make an effort to avoid coming in contact with the mainstream "media" at all costs. It screws up my digestion, activates the old ulcer, causes a high level of background helpless anger, and so on.

To me, lying is worse than many other sins. And organizations that purport to be messengers of the truth, but instead are house organs for the leftist elite and the homosexual agenda - they're evil. What more can I say.

The idiots who read/watch/listen to the lies really have only themselves to blame for being taken in, though. If people start having doubts about the fake "reality" they're being shown, they can search the web and find Free Republic.

I also pass on the trash "news". I only visit the Times to check on my Seahawks. Today I looked in because I was curious had bad the slant was on the rally. I only saw the TV news as I was channel surfing looking to see what the Mariner's score was. I wasn't able to attend the rally, but wished I had the opportunity. Don't you just love those that shout and shake their fist and accuse Christians of being "haters" and bigots?

Note to self, bring a mirror to next event so I can show the leftist nut-jobs what they look like with spittle running down their faces.

Mayday for Marriage ... I like the sound of that. This could be the start of something big.

I think you are absolutely right in your comments bout the likelihood of gay marriage being legalized, discrimination and such. However, I have a problem with your analogy of the gun control law. Are you saying that you would rather have no gun control laws because criminals are just going to break them anyway? Be very careful with that type of argument even used as an example because it follows that laws are useless and therefore unneeded because they are just going to be broken. sounds like an anarchy to me there. However. I reconcile with you by the very end of your post. absolutely the only Hope we have is electing those who share our views... and that carries the necessity of actually voting in the first place. what can we do to motivate people to actually fight for their beliefs?!

It's time the Special Rights Wackos are restrained and sent properly to their places -- it is so low-class to push for an agenda a majority of Americans oppose but is favoured by just a few judges and Young Skulls Full of Mush who have been promoting this by either college, high schools, MTV family of networks, or other looney places.

I'm sick of them gaining special rights which hurt people. As Exxon Mobil says, special rights cause disunity.

The pro-gay marriage protesters definitely are choosing sides here. I'd love to see their expressions when they die and find out it's not just fun and games...

"sounds like an anarchy to me there."

Isn't that exactly what we have now--judicial anarchy?

I attended the Mayday rally and I really enjoyed it. When I first got there I was a little intimidated because of all the liberal protestors out front. They were very agressive-they got in your face, snarling and shouting- calling people bigots and homophobic. I was surprised the police didn't hold them back more.

But once I got inside the stadium it was much more peaceful. Staffers were registering people to vote, passing out Christian literature, George Bush relection stickers and "God Bless America" signs. - My kind of place!

During the Dr. James Dobson speech a group of about 20 protestors came in the stands and tried to shout him down. We just ignored them until Dr. Dobson addressed them directly, saying something to the fact that we should love homosexuals but not let them destroy the family. He got a big applause for that.

Another funny moment: During the program a small plane kept flying over with a banner saying. "The Stranger newspaper says "Bigots go home". Being an African American I got a kick out of that.

Another issue that will not go away but will hang heavy around lurch's neck from now until November.

Hi D. If they disrupted a baseball game like this, how long do you think it would be before they were either hauled outside or off to jail? Disrespectful AND lost.

I don't know what station my husband was watching, but they gave the whole thing about fifteen seconds, and focused entirely on the pro-gay marriage protesters outside after making mention of what it was they were protesting (they gave an accurate number for those inside - I suppose I should be happy with that).

I have been involved in pro-Bush/Cheney and pro-military rallies around town, and it's always the same story. You'd think the lefties had the greater numbers and most legitimate issues in pretty much every instance of post-event media coverage I've ever seen around here. UGH.

I was listening to Dan Sytman's show on KTTH yesterday morning (this rally was the topic), and he had a gay woman from The Stranger who was involved in organizing the protests on as a guest. Interestingly, he asked her if she would condemn NAMBLA, and she wouldn't - she parsed around it for a little while. Unbelievable.

This replay of the media's actions isn't even news now, it is just typical of them. If we have greater numbers, the other side needs to have more time because they are a "minority." If WE have fewer numbers, we dont count because we aren't in the majority. Pathetic hypocrites. Only one solution - get a national newspaper!

20 pro-homo protesters = huge news story

25,000 attend pro-marriage rally = not news.

Makes sense to me. /sarcasm
