Question: Was Ted Koppel a Guest on "Air America" with Al Franken today?

Just a question...I heard that Ted Koppel was a guest on Al Unfunny Franken(stein)'s "Err Amerika" radio show today. True? Ted, supposedly an objective journalist, gave up time to be on the show of a man whose only stated objective in doing radio is to "un-elect George Bush"??

I am no fan of Air America or the likes of Al Franken, but Koppel was on Sean Hannity today.

I don't think anyone actually listens to Air America. So this question may never be answered for sure.

I believe you're going to have to track down their designated listener who's agreed to listen to the show daily as part of a community service sentence. I have been told that he is awaiting room at the Cook County Jail as an alternative to continued listening but that is just rumor. The Superior court may be able to help you locate this unfortunate.

I was listening to a British reporter for Fox News who is covering this story. The British reporter ended his story by saying Fox News had tried to get Koppel to do an interview but he said he was too busy. Turns out he was busy giving Air America an interview where he called on President Bush to admit mistakes made in Iraq.
The Fox News guy ended by commenting that the Air America appearance won't help Koppel people this show tonight isn't political

We may never know for sure who has appeared on Air America, since that would require someone actually listening to the network.
However, even if Koppel did appear that does not mean he gives up his objectivity as a journalist. Nor is appearing on a talk show an explicit endorsement of everything the talk show host believes.

If so, it's further evidence to convict ABC/Koppel of their clear political agenda.

I think there is a boycott of appearing on Fox by the MSM ilk and celebrities (unless they want to promote themselves or something).
But in the end no one will care.

I don't know if Koppel was on. I tuned to every station on my radio dial and could not seem to find Air America.

I tuned to every station on my radio dial and could not seem to find Air America. That's because Castro is the only one willing to give them "free" air time.

Yes! FOX ran a story about it, and there was a comment that Ted had complained a lot about Bush - thereby negating Ted's "supposed unbaised" program about Iraq's dead.
