Ya know, Dennis Prager came to speak here at UCSC recently, c/o some local Jewish groups. He is a genius. Anyhoo...he said that he believes 3 worldviews will face off:

1. Islam
2. European Secular Socialism
3. American Judeo-Christian Capitalism

The fate of the world lies on the outcome of this, and the only good outcome would be the victory of good ol' number 3.

He's underestimating the role of Asia in the future. There are a number of countries there that will play a more significant role in the future than dead-weights like France and Germany: China, a united Korea, India, Indonesia, Japan, Pakistan. Ideologically, they are not motivated by any of those three that Prager lists. To leave nationalism off the list is ignorant.

Islam is growing, but it would become a lesser option to many over other ideologies, if the woman of Islam spoke up and did something to challenge their men over lack of freedom and respect they receive, compared to woman in other societies.

The woman's revolution in the west, started long ago and has stabilized. Yet not for Islamic countries, where the woman's movement is a ticking time bomb. These woman have a key to the future, even though never discussed seriously by anybody since in most peoples minds the Islamic terrorist are unified and male.

What's disturbing is watching the Muslim secessionist movement...as they gain strength within various countries, claim a majority and then fight for their so-called independence. Little by little, Islam is transforming the face of this planet...and unfortunately, we in our naivety, have helped and supported them in many of these instances. From Pakistan to Chechnya to Kosovo and the Balkans...this "religion" has been on a perputual Jihad since 622. When I see Canada considering Sharia in their courts or Hamtramck acquiescing to Islam's Call to Prayer...I fear we don't understand this enemy.

I agree that she is telling the total truth with regards to Islam and the goals of the Islamists. But she began with an independent clause in her opening paragraph that was not elaborated upon in the article. I mean it begged for a follow-up.

She states, "The nation of Israel is a nearly sixty year old sore spot in the present-day Middle East, it costs American taxpayers a lot of money to support (billions per year), it's the focus of dispensational Christian theology, but ... Israel can take care of itself. Really. All the US has to do is say "sic 'em" and walk away."

True, but what does Israel have to do with her subject?

Anyway, she's spot on about the Muslim world.

Islam's prophets include Moses and Christ unlike Satan's kids. Beware of Satan and his children to thrust evil upon you and misdirect you. The facts are well known in history.
