Poor MoJo, she waits so patiently for her Piper fix, then I wait until she calls it a night to post...

Hey, Grammy, Piper wants to know what you think of her swing!

Auntie Fawnn, please tell your daughter "hello" from me when she calls this morning, ok?

That is ONE NEAT SWING! Far better than the ones our kids had. I remember how scared they got because they'd "flop" around...I LOVE the design.

Now....as to the BEAUTIFUL GIRL in the swing....WOW! That sweetie pie is getting cuter and cuter and CUTER!

Got the shotguns ready, Gramps????

The Swing
by Robert Lewis Stevenson
1850-1894

HOW do you like to go up in a swing,
Up in the air so blue?
Oh, I do think it the pleasantest thing
  Ever a child can do!

Up in the air and over the wall,
Till I can see so wide,
Rivers and trees and cattle and all
  Over the countryside—
Till I look down on the garden green,
Down on the roof so brown—
Up in the air I go flying again,
Up in the air and down!

Oh my gosh, Grampa....Piper, you are such a doll. Do you stay awake when you swing? Does your swing make you take a nap?

AAAAAAW! Every time I see pics of Piper, I just wanna reach out and gently squeeze those lil chubby cheeks. She is soooo precious!

She sure seems to enjoy the swing. Look-it that grin.

Morning Piper. You still look adorable upside-down. Did you know that?

Will do!

Despite yesterday's windy conditions, it was still sunny and beautiful outside. I got my grandbabies and my nature fixes during my visit. We spent lots of time outside. But, instead of playing what's become our usual pitch and catch, etc. they had me read to them! So, while seated in my folding chair, I held court and razzle-dazzled them with my speaking voice. (LOL) ... We stuck with the classics. Yesterday's books were the Little Golden Books versions of "Thumbelina" and "The Velveteen Rabbit." We only got sidetracked when, after determining the approximate size of Thumbelina's half walnut shell bed with its flower petals mattress and coverlet, we tried to decide whose thumb best represented Thumbelina's height. ;)
