Today: President Bush received Swedish Prime Minister Goran Persson in the Oval Office to discuss regional diplomatic and security issues.
He told the press U.S. military commanders will take whatever actions are necessary to secure the besieged Iraqi city of Falluja.
After his recent strong statements supporting Israel, Mr. Bush is considering giving written assurances to Jordan's King Abdullah that the issue of Jewish settlements and Palestinian refugees will be decided in negotiations.
Tuesday: Mr. Bush spoke about improving the nation's health care system and saving lives through support of health information technology while visiting a Veteran Affairs Center in Baltimore, April 27.
Heads up: Tomorrow President Bush and Vice President Cheney will answer questions from the 9/11 panel behind closed doors, with no record or transcript by an official stenographer. Testimony will not be under oath.

Thanks, Gretchen!! Good pictures today. I also think the orange tie Secret Service guy is one I am glad is guarding the President!
By the way, there is a thread up now that shows that Kerry had an off-shore tax shelter in the Cayman Islands back in the 80's. The hits just keep on a-comin'!
To: Miss Marple
Did you see the article about Kerry's butler in the NYT?LOL!

Yes! President Bush never had a butler until he lived in the White House (I think the position is called the White House Usher) and I know for darn sure there is no Butler in Crawford!
To: MEG33
The funniest thing about Kerry's manservant (that word just makes me giggle) is that the NY Times wrote it as a complementary piece for the Senator of the People.

THANKS so much Gretchen......the pics are so nice.
LOL...manservant news, and an offshore tax shelter for Kerry today.....seems like the Clinton's are working overtime behind the scenes, IMHO......bye bye...back to work.

Still seems strange to see pictures of President Bush on the White House lawn without little Spot there with him.

With the spelling of his last name, the PM might just be a relative of mine from Sverige.
Is that a good thing? ;o)

GOOD EVENING EVERYBODY!
Thanks for the ping Gretchen!
Di you know the President was just a few blocks from were I work on Tuesday?
I tried to go down there to see him but while I was on the balcony looking down on the main lobby, they had taken him through the loading dock in back.
sigh!
I think I know how lawgirl feels now trying to see him but something always happens to prevent it. grrr!
Hope ther'll be a campaign rally in Baltimre so I can go and see him then.
