Patrick Toomey is the future.
Pennsylvanians decide today if conservatism means something and is worth fighting for, or if it is an abstract principle rendered impractical by unprincipled political imprudents masquerading as "pragmatists."

The turn out was very low and I think thats a good sign for Pat.
I wish I could, but I'm registered in Nevada.
The Tribune-Review is actually based in Greensburg, Westmoreland County. (about 30 miles from Pittsburgh).
It expanded into the Pittsburgh market as a conservative alternative to the morning Post-Gazette back in '92 when the afternoon Pittsburgh Press went belly-up.
The more appropriate question is, could he possibly be any WORSE than Specter?
Pat Toomey is a solid conservative with an outstanding chance to beat Specter and eventual opponent Joe Hoeffel.
Well ya gotta appreciate the sacrifice I'm making on my end.
I'm not 100% certain where they stand on the issue, but I get the impression that Arlo Sphincter would be a stonger supporter of Pennsylvania Maglev.
Nevertheless, as much as that issue is dear to my heart, it was an EASY decision to declare that the Scottish RINO MUST VACATE THE SENATE.
Can't win 'em all, but I know what my priorities are.
From a national perspective, I advocate development of mass transit systems (light rail, high-speed rail and Maglev) electricly powered by nuclear and/or clean technologies as a means of reducing our nation's dependency on imported OPEC oil. It's not a panacea, but a worthwile investment that has long-term benefits for domestic commerce, technology development, employment, etc. etc.
Yes, I'm a current resident of Nevada, but I'm also a native of Pittsburgh. And as an engineer, I understand that the Pennsylvania Maglev proposal offers the best testbed of this new technology due to Pittsburgh's challenging climate and terrain. New technologies gotta go through refinement by real world challenges. The 'Burgh presents the best opportunity to work out the kinks. Get it working there, and other installations will be a cakewalk.
Conservatives ACROSS America consider the this race second importance only to the November Presidential contest. We have waited for years to stop liberal activist judges that sit on the bench for 30 years or more. If Specter returns to office in 2005, we can basically kiss goodbye any possibility of getting conservative constitutional judges on federal seats.
PA Republicans, unless you WANT a Senator who votes the LEFT of DEMOCRATs like John Breaux (D-LA) , Bill Lipinski (D-IL), Colin Peterson (D-MN), and Michael Michaud (D-ME), vote for PAT TOOMEY.
Get out and vote today!!! The conservative slate:

Conservatives ACROSS America consider the this race second importance only to the November Presidential contest...yadda yadda
Easy there, big fella. I'm on your side. I agree that the election of Toomey and the crushing, humiliating defeat of Specter is of the greatest importance to the whole country. I was specifically asking Willie about his interest in the Pennsylvania Maglev project. That seemed like a pretty narrow focus for someone living across the country from PA.
