Sean Hannity Wrong about Ron Brown

Posted on 04/27/2004 2:53:57 AM PDT by Arthur Wildfire! March

I like Sean Hannity very much. And, since I value the opinion of forensics specialists regarding someone's death, I have one major bone to pick with him. Months back, someone apparently had to lie to the call screener to talk about Ron Brown's head hole. Hannity said with emphaticabsolute certainty that Ron Brown died in a crash. It borderlined hysteria, perhaps because he knows full well that there is overwhelming evidence to back up the call for an autopsy. I know Hannity is smarter than the average bear. I know, absolutely know, he is smart enough to know that the opinion of multiple forensic specialists holds more weight than his opinion or the opinion of anyone in the media, particularly leftist newspapers that cherry pick their quotes. But on his show, he doesn't want to get near this matter.

He apparantly is blocking calls on Ron Brown with his screeners. When is he going to invite Kathleen Janoski to talk with him on the radio? When is he going to invite Coggswell? When is he going to at least hear what they said? All he has to do is call Chris Ruddy. There's no work to it. WHISTLE BLOWERS WERE DRUMMED OUT OF THE MILITARY OVER THIS! It was a coverup to save the Clintons' miserable hides in the Chinagate scandal-- the most treasonous scandal in our history, and HE IS PROVIDING COVER FOR THE LEFTIST MEDIA!

Alan Keyes-- and I challenge anyone to call Alan Keyes a gullible half wit, Keyes is a Havard grad and former ambassador to the UN who formed the brilliant Mexico City Language, the most brilliant diplomatic manuever done, I would say, in the history of the earth [to save the unborn], this man-- the most skilled debater I've ever heard, he took Brown's death very seriously. Does Hannity think Alan Keyes is a kook? He's all but said it, hasn't he? Why doesn't he say so publicly?

I like Hannity very much. I agree with him 99% of the time and am glad he's on the radio. And what he's doing with the college fund for the children of veterans is wonderful. But the Brown Matter is more important than that college fund, by far. I simply wish he would take the truth more seriously. That's my only complaint. Then again, there are FReeping Thomases on this forum as well. They never call Alan Keyes a gullible half wit, though. So, I challenge them to say it here and now.

FReegards....

If Hannity ever had an original thought enter his head it would knock him unconscious.

I don't presume to speak for Sean Hannity but it is my opinion that the reason he does not get into the "Ron Brown" conspiracy theory debates is that he doesn't want his show to turn into another "Art Bell - all psychos, all of the time show". I am thankful that most of his shows are more centered on reality.

Centered on callers braying:

"Loved your book Sean, it looks great next to my other book in my bookcase. When are you going to release the audio version? I am just dying to know what you wrote!!!

I admit, I sometimes listen to him but it's all commercial after commercial after commercial. Whenever a caller starts talking he interupts to sell his book or talk about his wife. It's mind numbing. His show could be great if he could only find time for the daily topic.

Remember, Rush used to be followed in New York by the King of talk radio, Bob Grant. Bob is no empty suit, takes any and all callers, calls em as he sees them. If memory serves me correctly, Bob was fired over comments he made concerning the death of Ron Brown. Could this be why Hannity (i agree, empty suit) dances around this topic. Job security! Rich

I agree completely. I think Sean knows what pushes the buttons of the "average" American, who may be undecided. Those people don't want to hear some conspiracy theory that is dredged up from 5 or 6 years ago. We (the ones who have kept up on things) know that something real fishy was going on during the Klinton years, but they're over.

I think the average joe can relate more to Kerry's medal controversy and his flip-flopping than Art Bell conspiracy theories.

I would contend that Hannity is reaching the more moderate fence sitters that we really need to vote for GW.

What's reality for you is fantasy for me. Ron Brown was murdered. That's reality. That it doesn't matter to those who still admire the emperor's new clothes is unreal.

Sean is waiting for conclusive evidence that Ron Brown's autopsy revealed that collision with a flying war medal was the cause of his death.

Folks, this is going too far. Debate is fine but let's back off Sean.

It is only reality for Sean if he can get Lanny Davis on to play devils advocate for such position.

It would sure be nice if JUST ONCE Hannity's name could be mentioned on this forum without people feeling compelled to rush in and post the same criticisms they've posted a hundred times before.

They find the show boring, but it is also boring to read about how boring they find it.

Just in case anybody needs to know, I have a real hard time listening to Sean Hannity also. Not because he "dissed" FreeRepublic though. That's his opinion and I believe he has a right to it, but because I just don't like his style. I dislike bombastic self-righteousness and shameless self promotion in all its forms.

Stop it!!!

I don't really mean "Stop it."

Just Stop it.

But don't take that the wrong way.

Now I see your point!

He's like a broken record, annoying to listen too! Unconvincing in his arguments. I don't see the attraction of his show.

Yup, I agree with you. Doesn't follow up, change tactics or advance his arguments. He's predictable &, IMO, intellectually lazy. In a word, Hannity is ''trite.'' What's maddening to me is that I think he's capable of doing much better.
