Kerry melt-down following Gibson GMA interview
ABC Evening News
Posted on 04/26/2004 4:03:47 PM PDT by A Citizen Reporter
Peter Jennings just ran a piece on Kerry's Vietnam history. Included in the piece was a bit of video after this morning's interview with Charlie Gibson. Kerry (thinking he was off-camera) ripped out his earpiece, and said "I feel like they're doing the work of the Republican National Committee."

Somethin' smells here. They're not going to go after their guy, unless he's not their guy. Maybe he's being setup so Hitlery can step in. Somethin' is very strange here.

Everyone thought he was gone then and that we wouldn't have to see this boring poseur running for president. Sominex stocks have since taken a nose dive on fears that Kerry could win. That visit to the Leno show should be shown again. Save Sominex.

Update!
It was a rather long segment. It showed cuts of Kerry's interview this morning. Then it showed part of his testimony before Congress back in 1971. Then talked about upset veterans, including a Marine Viet Nam vet who was so upset he couldn't talk (filmed by The Wall, no less). Finally showed Kerry accusing Bush on his NG record, and then finished with the pulling off the mike and accusation that ABC was doing the RNC's work.
It was a pretty fair report, and Kerry's side was given some time, but there is no doubt that Kerry looked bad in this segment. (For example, ABC knows that showing that 1971 testimony does NOT help Kerry, and they really didn't have to use it, but they did.)

Absolutley right! I was thinking earlier, who would be the harder candidate to beat in Nov., Kerry or Clinton? My personal thoughts are as nuts as it is Clinton has this ridiculous ability to get people behind her, so frankly I think she'd be tougher. IMHO only....
If that is the case why don't we tone it down until he gets the nomination and then destroy!!!???

I'd called home and asked my wife to watch it and report it. Now, I wish I'd asked her to record it. Thanks for the update. Save Sominex. Stop Kerry.

One of my thoughts on Hillary! running in 2004 is whether she really wants to inherit the war in Iraq and the War On Terror. If she really wants to build up socialism, is the way to do it in a 50/50 country to declare defeat by insurgents in Iraq, bring home the world's most feared military, and divert the military funding (again) to social programs?
Or, would she rather wait until 2008 and hope that either: 1) the war goes well and the people weary of Bush and Republicans, or 2) the war goes poorly and the people weary of Bush and Republican?
If she does run in 2004 and wins, then she will have to do something about Iraq and Afghanistan. If she waits, then it's Bush's problem to deal with.

LOL! Yeah, I guess you're right, if you continue to say stupid sh*t, it would be hard to play it down, huh?

Heh heh...oops! I'd always been under the impression that he said this during a speech. Of course, none of our cities are radioactive rubble, so I guess that conclusion should've been obviously wrong...

Heard part of this on a local radio show, it was too funny! He is obviously lying, and it is shocking that Gibson went after him! All Kerry can do is just keep bashing Bush lying again about his military record!

I've also wondered why they are turning on Kerry now. I saw a little segment on CNN this afternoon with the border guard who stopped the millinium bomber and it was made clear through her interview that she had no special alert to look for anything special coming up to the new year. She said it was just business as usual that caught this guy.
My apologies for stopping on CNN when I was flipping channels, but the headline was who gets the credit for catching this guy and they had the real guard there to interview. Clark never returned their calls.
This is just to weird. Am I in a parallel universe?
