"I will never cower before any master nor bend to any threat"
Two Chinese diplomats, away from their Los Angeles consulate improperly, recently sped their vehicle past a Los Alamos National Laboratory guard post near classified facilities in what U.S. officials think was an intelligence mission, The Washington Times has learned.

Maybe some of those hackers made it over to Jill's site. Thanks Gran.

Letitring- You are right! Red liquid.

A few threads back we discussed how the "jihad hackers" would take down sites who reported on Jihad activity right before terror strikes.
If I remember correctly, several sites we were following were downed a day or so before the Madrid bombing.

I didn't realize that killer bees were that common. I was thought about the story in the context of a terror related threat. Do you believe that West Nile virus may be terror related?
To: Indie
Re- smugglers.
Possibly this story was given to prevent people from "panicking".
With these incidents occurring, I think that the powers that be have to decide which is riskier- not reporting the threat versus reporting it and leading people to panic/evacuate/stay home and not shop/etc.
I keep going back to that Bridgeport CT. incident. DHS had issued a specific warning to the Bridgeport area. That evening the so-called tanker "accident" (which ended up melting Rt. 95 on an important bridge) took place. The very next day, officials reported that the threat was a hoax.
We are being kept in the dark about most of these incidents. People who witness them have different reports than those provided later by the mainstream media.
Same thing with Richmond and the 12 fires set in the city.
Hushed up- no more commentary. Not even speculation about who/what was to blame.
It reminds me a bit of that old movie- Gaslight.
The blame for these (increasing) incidents is placed upon birds, drunks, poor driving skills, road conditions, human error- etc.

Re- DC Union station. You mean a little birdie didn't do it? :)

I agree Cubans hate us. Suppose he is just shopping votes. Which bothers me.

Chemical Cloud Released In West Bottoms
Hazmat Teams Have Situation Under Control
POSTED: 4:27 pm CDT April 29, 2004
UPDATED: 5:58 pm CDT April 29, 2004
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Firefighters were called to a business in the West Bottoms Thursday afternoon after some sort of chemical reaction released a cloud of chemicals into the air, KMBC's Emily Aylward reported.
It happened at 716 Mulberry around 3:45 p.m.
At 5:15 p.m., hazmat officials said they had the situation under control. They determined the chemical reaction happened when an oxidizing chemical mixed with some kind of fertilizer, causing the cloud.

Here are a couple of first hand pictures from around the Old Faithful geyser. These were taking August 17, 2003. The geological features are enjoyable to observe and nasty to smell. The air is tainted with hydrogen sulphide gas and the ground is so hot that you must walk on wood catwalks to avoid the surface soil temps around 200 F.

Jill- Have you been experiencing problems with the site? I hope not!
To: Letitring
The mixture was neutralized by HazMat and nobody was injured. It's over now. Just another potentially explosive chemical incident.
To: Honestly
Oh, I thought you were speaking about the action of the bees as strange.
Killer bees aren't native to the U.S. and neither is West Nile Virus. The question is, "How did they get here?"

I just read this to my husband and he rolled his eyes. I am 10 miles from that dam plant. I wonder if Abdul cased the "unusual event".

Icky but fascinating. 200 degree ground temperature would not be my idea of a stroll.
That hiking trail that is closed is in this area, isn't it?
